As a boater, it’s important to think about where and how to store your investment. From dry stacks to jet docks, there are a variety of options for you to consider. While the LaPorte T-Top Cover is not made for in-water storage, they are designed however, for storage in the following locations. Thinking about what storage option is best for you? There are a variety of choices for you.
Trailer:
Some people simply prefer to use their boat trailers for transporting and storing their vessel. Most of the time, people will keep their trailers on their property, either in their backyard or driveway. This is going to be the most affordable storage option to go with.
Boat Lift:
These are used to launch the boat in and out of the water. Boat lifts generally work with either a hydraulic lifting system or a motorized system, which raises and lowers the boat into and out of the water for a safe and convenient system. Here you can see one of our Center Console Curtains installed.
Dry Stack:
These are levels of racks that your boat is stored on and are moved in and out of the water with a large marine forklift. People enjoy dry stacks because the facility will have your boat in the water, fueled and ready to go each time you arrive. When you return, simply clean out the inside (or take advantage of a cleaning service), park your boat and head home. Your marina will wash the outside of your boat, flush the motors, perform any additional services you requested and return your boat to its space in the dry stack building.
Floating Dock:
These are safe, convenient, drive-on floating dock systems that are able to fluctuate with the changing water levels. Perfect for salt or freshwater, shallow or deep, tropical or cold climates.
No matter your budget, these are all great options for storing your boat, and are ultimately going to protect your investment. Your LaPorte T-Top Boat Cover will work great with any of these storage options! Let us know if you need help getting your vessel covered for the off-season.
