7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Our Sea Hunt 20 BXBR covers are custom-patterned to accommodate the boat's unique dual-purpose layout — the forward bow rider seating area with its walk-through windshield, the center console with leaning post, and the aft fishing platform with rod holders. The pattern accounts for both configurations so the cover fits snugly over the entire boat without leaving gaps around the bow seating or console.
Since the 20 BXBR CC version has no T-top frame, the cover wraps over the entire boat as one continuous piece. It attaches along the rubrail and gunwale using stainless-steel snaps, adjustable straps, and an elastic hem cord that holds the bottom edge snug against the hull. A support pole system prevents water from pooling on the flat areas of the cover, particularly over the bow rider section.
Our covers extend well below the chine — the widest point of the hull where it transitions from the vertical sides to the V-bottom. On the 20 BXBR, only a thin 6–10 inch strip of the curved V-bottom hull is visible below the cover's bottom edge. When trailered, the cover's bottom edge sits level with the top of the trailer tires, and tie-down straps secure it to the trailer frame for a tight, wind-resistant fit.
The cover is one single continuous piece of fabric — it doesn't stop at the transom. The fabric extends past the transom and drapes loosely over the outboard engine as part of the same cover, then gathers and cinches at the bottom with straps. The engine is completely hidden under the fabric — you can't see the cowling shape at all. Only the lower unit shaft is visible below. There is no separate engine boot or engine cover to deal with.
Yes. During the ordering process, you'll specify any aftermarket additions — trolling motors, Power-Poles, jack plates, upgraded electronics, aftermarket T-top frames, and similar accessories. Our team adjusts the pattern to accommodate these modifications so the cover fits properly without putting stress on protruding accessories or leaving gaps around them.
The CC (center console) cover is designed for the version without a T-top frame — it covers the entire boat as one continuous piece from bow to stern, including the console and engine. The T-Top cover is designed for boats with a factory T-top and attaches to the underside of the T-top roof panel, with the T-top support legs hidden inside the fabric. Make sure to select the correct version for your boat's configuration.
With proper care, our covers typically last 7–10 years in harsh saltwater and sun environments like Florida, the Gulf Coast, and the Carolinas. Both our 9 oz marine canvas and Sunbrella options use solution-dyed fibers that resist UV fading and mildew growth. We recommend rinsing the cover with fresh water after heavy salt exposure and allowing it to dry fully before folding for maximum lifespan.
A center console mooring cover is a full-boat cover that wraps over the entire vessel — from bow to stern and down the hull sides — to protect it during storage. Unlike a bimini top (which only shades while underway) or a T-top cover (which attaches to the T-top frame), a CC mooring cover has no overhead structure to attach to. It uses snaps along the gunwale, support poles for water shedding, and straps to create complete coverage of the entire boat and engine as one piece.
Both are excellent marine-grade options. The 9 oz canvas is our most popular choice — heavy-duty, tightly woven, with excellent water resistance, UV protection, and breathability at a great price point. Sunbrella is the premium option, offering the absolute best fade resistance and longevity, often preferred by owners who store their boats in extreme sun climates like South Florida or the Texas coast. Both fabrics are solution-dyed, meaning the color goes all the way through the fiber.
Select your Sea Hunt 20 BXBR from our product page, choose your fabric (9 oz canvas or Sunbrella) and color, then note any aftermarket accessories during checkout. Each cover is built to order using your boat's specific pattern. Typical turnaround is 2–4 weeks depending on production volume. The cover ships with all necessary mounting hardware — stainless-steel snaps, adjustable straps, support poles, and installation instructions included.
The Sea Hunt BX 20 BR combines a fishable center console layout with a comfortable bow rider configuration in a compact 20’4″ hull with an 8’2″ beam. Our custom-patterned covers protect both the open bow seating area and the aft fishing deck without compromise — keeping your 20 BXBR ready to launch whether you’re headed offshore or to the sandbar.
Unlike generic covers that leave gaps around the bow rider’s unique forward seating or pool water on the console, our covers are patterned to the 20 BXBR’s specific dimensions and follow every contour from the flared bow to the integrated swim platform.
Why the Sea Hunt 20 BXBR Needs a Custom Cover
With a single outboard rated up to 150 HP, 42 gallons of fuel capacity, and a 15-degree deadrise modified-V hull with Sea Hunt’s signature Carolina Flare, the BX 20 BR is built for versatile coastal duty. That versatility means the boat spends time in varied environments — saltwater flats, brackish rivers, and open bays — all of which accelerate wear on exposed upholstery, gelcoat, and electronics. A properly fitted cover blocks UV damage, salt spray, bird droppings, and tree pollen that cause premature aging on boats stored outdoors.
At approximately 2,100 pounds dry weight, the 20 BXBR is easy to trailer and often lives in driveways or open lots where it faces constant sun and weather exposure. Our covers are engineered for exactly that scenario, with reinforced stitching at every stress point and stainless-steel snaps that stay secure in strong wind.
Built for the Sea Hunt BX 20 BR Layout
Every cover we build for the 20 BXBR is patterned around the boat’s dual-purpose layout: the forward bow rider seating with its walk-through windshield, the center console with leaning post, rod holders, and the aft casting platform. The fabric follows the hull’s modified-V shape and Carolina Flare all the way down to the rubrail, so water sheets off instead of collecting in pockets.
We offer your choice of 9 oz marine-grade canvas (our most popular option) or premium Sunbrella fabric, both solution-dyed for maximum UV and fade resistance. Each cover ships with all necessary hardware — snaps, straps, and support poles — so installation is fast and frustration-free.
A custom-fitted mooring cover does more than keep leaves out of your boat. It preserves your resale value by shielding the gelcoat from UV oxidation, prevents mildew from forming on the bow rider cushions and aft seating, and stops corrosion on exposed hardware and electronics. For a dual-purpose boat like the BX 20 BR that sees both fishing and family use, that protection translates directly into lower maintenance costs and a longer hull life.
