PERFECT FIT BOAT COVERS LLC WARRANTY

T-Top Boat Covers, Center Console Boat Covers, and Center Console Curtains

Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC stands behind every product it makes. For the original purchaser, we will repair or replace any defect in materials, workmanship, and/or fabric that is found to exist during the applicable warranty period described below, provided the product was bought from Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC or one of our authorized dealers, and subject to the exclusions, limitations, conditions, and provisions set out in this document. Any repair or replacement carried out under these warranties will be handled by Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC, or by a dealer or representative that we select. Our responsibility under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing whatever part Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC determines to be defective within the applicable warranty period.

Materials and Workmanship

For one (1) year from the original purchase date, Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC will repair or replace any product the original purchaser finds to be defective in materials or workmanship. Under this warranty, “materials” means any webbing, thread, binding, buckles, zippers, grommets, poles, rope, logos, tags, pull tabs, straps, rubber, Velcro®, or any other item used to build the finished product, fabric excepted (fabric is covered separately below). “Workmanship” means every aspect of the construction that goes into the finished product. This coverage is also subject to the exclusions, limitations, conditions, and provisions noted below. This warranty does not extend to items made by a separate company — such as SeaSucker® vacuum cups or Mate Series products — even when those items are used together with a product that Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC manufactures. Such items may carry their own manufacturer’s warranty, but they are NOT covered by Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC.

Fabric

Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC will repair or replace, for the original purchaser, any fabric found to be defective within the periods listed just below. Here, “fabric” means the polyester and acrylic textiles used in T-Top® Boat Covers, Center Console Boat Covers, Center Console Curtains, or any other product we may manufacture. This coverage is likewise subject to the exclusions, limitations, conditions, and provisions noted below. The fabric coverage periods, each measured from the original purchase date, are:

Black and Navy nine (9) ounce fabric — five (5) years
Grey nine (9) ounce fabric — four (4) years
Eight (8) ounce fabric — four (4) years
Seven (7) ounce fabric — three (3) years
Sunbrella fabric — six (6) years

Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered under the Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC warranty:

Improper Use
Accident or Negligence
Unauthorized Modification or Changes
Improper Care or Maintenance
Mold or Mildew
Orders Placed Incorrectly
Theft or Loss
Acts of God

Warranty Claims

To qualify for repair or replacement during the applicable warranty period, the original product must be sent to Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC. When a claim falls within the applicable warranty period and within three (3) months of the original purchase date, Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC will cover the expenses of warranty service. When a claim falls within the applicable warranty period but more than three (3) months after the original purchase date, the product owner is responsible for the cost of shipping the product to Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC.

Our T-Top Boat Covers and Center Console Boat Covers are not built for in-water or travel use; traveling with the cover on, or leaving it in the water, will void the warranty. Center Console Curtains are not built for travel use; traveling with the curtain will void the warranty.

To open a warranty claim, the product owner must contact Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC within the applicable warranty period and request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. No return will be accepted without an RMA number. You can reach Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC at:

If the RMA number is not clearly visible on the package, warranty service may be delayed or denied. A product returned for repair or warranty that arrives dirty may be subject to a cleaning fee; a product returned for return or exchange that arrives dirty may be refused, may not receive a full refund, or may be subject to a restocking fee. Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC is not responsible for any item damaged, misplaced, or lost in transit.

Boat Shade and Harbor Shade

For the original purchaser, Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC will repair or replace any defect in materials, workmanship, and/or fabric found to exist during the applicable warranty period described below, provided the product was bought from Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC or an authorized dealer, and subject to the exclusions, limitations, conditions, and provisions set out here. Repairs and replacements will be performed by Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC or a dealer or representative we select, and our obligation is limited to repairing or replacing the part we determine to be defective within the applicable warranty period.

For this coverage, “materials” means webbing straps, thread, buckles, poles, logo, tags, Velcro®, grommets, 2″ flat band, or any other item used to build the finished product, fabric excepted (see below). “Workmanship” means every aspect of the construction that goes into the finished product. This coverage is subject to the exclusions, limitations, conditions, and provisions noted below. It does not extend to items made by a separate company — such as SeaSucker® vacuum cups or Mate Series products — even when used together with a product we manufacture; those may carry their own manufacturer’s warranty but are NOT covered by the Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC warranty.

Fabric

Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC will repair or replace, for the original purchaser, any fabric found defective within the period listed below. Here, “fabric” means the Resilience® material used in both Boat Shades and Harbor Shades, or any other product we may manufacture. This coverage is subject to the exclusions, limitations, conditions, and provisions noted below.

Resilience® — guaranteed free of defects for one (1) year from the original purchase date.

Warranty Exclusions

The following are not covered under the Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC warranty:

Warranty Claims

Boat Shades and Harbor Shades from Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC may be exchanged or returned within fifteen (15) days; after that period, all shade sales are final. Boat Shades and Harbor Shades are not intended for permanent use and should be taken down after each use.

General Provisions

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. It is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America.

This document sets out the entire warranty provided by Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC. No terms, promises, conditions, or warranties exist other than those stated here. No oral or written information or advice given by Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC or its dealers, representatives, agents, or employees creates a warranty or expands the scope of this one in any way. Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC does not authorize anyone to alter or amend this warranty, or to create or assume on its behalf any other obligation or liability relating to its products. Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC may change prices, design, colors, specifications, materials, fabric, options, and the like at any time without notice, and may improve products previously made, with no obligation to replace or modify products built before such changes. Perfect Fit Boat Covers LLC reserves the right to inspect every claim made under these warranties.

THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF, AND PERFECT FIT BOAT COVERS LLC DISCLAIMS, ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER THE UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF ANY PERSON, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, AND PERFECT FIT BOAT COVERS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, INCONVENIENCE, OR DAMAGE RESULTING FROM A BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY NOT DISCLAIMED HEREIN, EXCEPT AS SET FORTH ABOVE.

Where the disclaimers and exclusions of warranties and damages above are inconsistent with applicable law, they are limited to the maximum extent permitted by that law, and any remaining implied obligations and warranties are limited in duration to one (1) year, or to a shorter period if applicable law so permits. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations or exclusions above may not apply to you.
