Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our cover is custom-patterned specifically for the Sea Hunt 232 Triton's 23'4" LOA and 8'6" beam. It attaches to the underside of the factory T-top frame and drapes down to cover approximately 85–90% of the hull sides, fully enclosing the outboard engine (up to 250HP). The pattern accounts for the 232 Triton's progressive deadrise hull shape, console placement, and transom width — no generic fitting or excessive bunching.
The 232 Triton features a progressive deadrise that changes from 60 degrees at the bow entry to 25 degrees amidships and 18 degrees at the transom. This variable geometry creates a hull shape that differs significantly from a standard V-hull. Our cover is patterned to follow these transitions precisely, ensuring the fabric sits taut across the sharper bow sections and conforms properly to the flatter transom area without sagging or pooling.
Yes. The cover wraps the stern and engine area as one continuous fabric piece, creating a natural contour around the outboard. The sizing accounts for the standard 232 Triton transom dimensions with engine installations up to 250HP — no separate engine boot is needed. The fabric extends from the T-top frame down past the engine cowling to the hull's chine, with the cowling, lower unit, and all rigging fully protected.
The cover attaches to the underside edges of the factory T-top frame using stainless-steel snaps. The T-top roof stays fully exposed on top, so rain and debris slide off naturally rather than pooling on the cover. The fabric drapes down around the T-top's support posts and secures along the gunwales with additional snap points and adjustable tie-down straps that pull everything taut for a wind-resistant fit.
Absolutely. The cover is designed for both mooring and trailering. Reinforced stitching at all stress points handles highway wind loads, and the multi-point tie-down system anchors the cover's bottom perimeter to your trailer frame, keeping the fabric taut so it won't flap or shift at speed. At approximately 2,800 lbs dry, the 232 Triton is regularly trailered, and many owners keep the cover on for every trip.
For a 23'4" offshore center console, 103 gallons is a substantial fuel load that supports extended range and serious bluewater capability. The cover sizing accounts for the boat's full dimensions with typical fuel capacity and normal equipment aboard. The 232 Triton's fuel tank placement doesn't create any interference with cover fitment — the cover drapes over the hull exterior regardless of fuel level.
Yes. The cover provides full cockpit enclosure from the T-top frame down to the gunwales, shielding your helm electronics, fish finder displays, live well pumps and lids, leaning post, rod holders, and all seating surfaces from UV exposure, rain, salt spray, bird droppings, and airborne contaminants. The breathable fabric also reduces condensation buildup underneath, which helps prevent mildew on upholstery and corrosion on electronic connections.
A T-top mooring cover is a fitted fabric cover that attaches to your boat's T-top frame and drapes down over the hull for storage and trailering protection. It's different from a full canvas enclosure, which creates a sealed, walkable space you can use while aboard. A mooring cover is designed purely for protection when the boat is not in use — it shields against UV, rain, salt, pollen, and bird droppings while allowing airflow through the breathable marine fabric to prevent mildew.
We offer three options: 7 oz. polyester for lightweight handling and budget-friendly protection (3-year warranty), 9 oz. heavy-duty polyester for boats stored outdoors or trailered frequently in harsh conditions (5-year warranty), and Sunbrella solution-dyed acrylic for maximum UV resistance and colorfastness (6-year warranty). All are solution-dyed so color is locked into the fiber — no dye transfer to your gel coat. For a 232 Triton in a saltwater environment, we usually recommend 9 oz. polyester or Sunbrella.

Sea Hunt 232 Triton T-Top Boat Cover — Offshore Protection for a Serious Platform

Guard your Sea Hunt 232 Triton with a custom-fitted T-top mooring cover engineered for this capable 23’4″ center console. With an 8’6″ beam, approximately 2,800 pounds dry weight, and a fuel capacity of 103 gallons, the Triton 232 is built for extended offshore runs — and our cover is built to protect every inch of it between trips. The progressive deadrise hull design (60° entry at the bow, 25° amidships, 18° at the transom) delivers a smooth, confident ride through rough water, and our cover is patterned to follow those exact hull contours. Browse our full collection of T-top boat covers to compare options across all makes and models.

Precision-Patterned for the Triton 232 Hull & T-Top Frame

Our cover attaches to the underside edges of the factory T-top frame using stainless-steel snaps, with the T-top roof staying fully exposed on top. The fabric drapes down symmetrically around the T-top’s support posts and extends to the hull’s chine, covering approximately 85–90% of the hull sides and fully enclosing the outboard engine (up to 250HP). The 232 Triton’s generous beam and progressive deadrise create a hull profile that demands model-specific patterning — no universal cover can match this fit. Owners of the smaller Sea Hunt 160 Triton CC appreciate the same precision-fit approach we bring to the entire Triton lineup.

Marine-Grade Fabric Built for Saltwater Duty

Choose from 7 oz. polyester for lightweight value, 9 oz. heavy-duty polyester for boats facing harsh conditions or extended outdoor storage, or premium Sunbrella acrylic for industry-leading UV resistance and colorfastness. All fabrics are solution-dyed — pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface — so color stays locked in with zero dye transfer to your gel coat. The breathable construction allows trapped moisture to vent naturally, preventing mildew buildup on upholstery, electronics, and live wells during long storage stretches.

Secure Tie-Down System for Trailering & Long-Term Storage

The 232 Triton cover ships with a complete multi-point tie-down system, stainless steel hardware, and all anchor points needed for secure installation. Reinforced stitching at every stress point handles highway wind loads, and the adjustable strap system keeps the fabric taut across the 8’6″ beam so it won’t flap or shift during trailering. Whether your Triton sits on a lift, in dry stack, or on a trailer through the off-season, this cover delivers comprehensive protection for your console electronics, live wells, seating surfaces, and outboard. If you’re also considering the Ultra series at a similar size, explore the Sea Hunt 232 Ultra T-Top cover for that hull.
