Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

The stepped hull design introduces a physical notch or step in the hull bottom that helps the boat plane higher and run more efficiently. From a cover perspective, the step is on the underside of the hull and is not visible when the boat is on the trailer, so it has no effect on how the cover drapes over the exterior. The cover follows the outer hull shape from gunwale to chine, and the step sits below the waterline where the cover does not reach.
The RZR 24's lighter dry weight compared to other 24-footers means slightly less gravitational anchoring on the trailer, but our standard tie-down strap system handles this well. The straps run from the cover's lower hem to the trailer frame on both sides, securing the cover independently of the boat's weight. The RZR 24's 8-foot-2-inch beam is also slightly narrower than the Edge 24's 8-foot-6, which means less wind surface area on the cover and less lateral force during gusts.
The coffin box is a recessed storage compartment built into the deck with a flush-mounted lid. When the lid is closed, the cover drapes over it just like any other deck surface. We recommend closing and latching the coffin box lid before installing the cover so rain cannot pool inside if any moisture gets past the fabric during heavy storms. The cover provides the primary rain and UV barrier, but the coffin box lid acts as a secondary seal for the storage compartment below.
A jack plate raises the outboard mounting position above the standard transom height, which means the engine cowling sits higher than it would on a fixed-mount setup. Our engine pouch is designed with generous vertical fabric to accommodate this. The pouch remains loose and baggy around the cowling regardless of jack plate position. We do recommend setting the jack plate to its lowest travel position before covering, which minimizes the total height the fabric needs to span from the T-top down to the lower unit.
The 3-piece gunnel design with folding rod holders is a signature feature of the RZR 24 that gives it roughly 5 inches more under-gunwale storage than the BX 24. Our cover drapes over the outside of the hull from the T-top frame down, so the gunwale hardware, folding rod holders, and any rods stored in the under-gunwale racks are fully enclosed and protected. The cover does not press against folding rod holders, but we recommend folding them inward before covering so nothing protrudes and creates a pressure point in the fabric.
The RZR 24 runs a moderate 15-degree deadrise, which is flatter than offshore center consoles in the 18-22 degree range but steeper than pure flats boats around 10-12 degrees. This middle ground means the cover panel depth at the keel is moderate and the hull sides have a gentle outward taper rather than a sharp flare. The result is a cover that sits close to the hull without the deep-keel fabric excess of an offshore boat or the completely flat drape of a skiff.
Salt-heavy environments are harder on any marine fabric than brackish or fresh water. If you regularly run in full saltwater, rinse the cover with fresh water periodically when you wash the boat, especially along the lower hem where salt spray concentrates. Both our 9-ounce marine canvas and Sunbrella options resist salt damage, but rinsing extends the life of stitching and snaps. For boats that split time between salt flats and fresher backwater, cleaning after each saltwater trip is the best practice.
A bimini only shades the helm area while underway and a console cover only protects the dash and electronics. A T-top mooring cover does something entirely different — it attaches to the T-top frame and encloses the entire boat from the cockpit to the engine for full stationary storage protection. The T-top roof stays exposed above for ventilation. For a bay boat like the RZR 24 that often gets trailered to different ramps and stored outdoors between trips, this all-in-one protection against UV, rain, pollen, bird droppings, and salt residue is far more comprehensive than any partial cover solution.
Both our 9-ounce marine canvas and Sunbrella fabric resist salt damage, but Sunbrella has an edge in long-term UV and salt resistance due to its solution-dyed acrylic construction where color goes all the way through the fiber rather than sitting on the surface. For an RZR 24 that splits time between salt flats and brackish backwater, Sunbrella will hold up longer with less fading. That said, the 9-ounce canvas performs well too, especially if you rinse the cover with fresh water after saltwater trips.
We need your model year, T-top type and roof dimensions, engine make and horsepower, and whether you have a jack plate installed. The RZR 24's jack plate option changes the engine mounting height, which affects the rear pouch dimensions. Also let us know about any aftermarket additions to the T-top like rod holders, lights, or antenna mounts so the cover pattern accounts for those.

Sea Hunt 24 RZR T-Top Boat Cover — Custom Protection for the Ultimate Bay Boat

The Sea Hunt 24 RZR is one of the most popular bay boats on the water — a shallow-draft, high-performance machine built for inshore fishing and capable of handling nearshore chop when conditions call for it. This custom-fitted T-top mooring cover is patterned to the RZR 24’s exact 24-foot length and 8’6″ beam, wrapping securely around the factory T-top frame and draping down to protect 85–90% of the hull sides while fully enclosing the outboard engine.

Shallow-Draft Performance Hull

The 24 RZR’s modified-vee hull draws minimal water, letting you run skinny flats and back-country creeks that deeper boats can’t reach. With a single Yamaha up to 300 HP, a massive livewell system, and a cockpit loaded with rod holders and storage, there’s a lot of gear exposed at the dock. Our T-top cover shields the console, leaning post, bow casting platform, livewells, rod storage, and electronics from UV damage, rain, salt spray, bird droppings, and airborne debris.

Factory T-Top Frame Fit

The cover attaches to the underside edges of the factory T-top frame using stainless steel snaps — no drilling or permanent modifications required. The T-top roof stays fully exposed for ventilation, while the side panels wrap the full cockpit and engine compartment. Most owners have the cover on or off in under five minutes once the initial snap placement is done.

Fabric and Construction

Choose from 9 oz marine-grade canvas (our most popular option) or Sunbrella solution-dyed acrylic — both engineered for years of saltwater UV exposure with reinforced stitching at every stress point.
