7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Twin Yamaha F250 cowlings create a wide engine cluster at the transom that is significantly bulkier than a single outboard. Our cover's rear pouch is patterned for this exact twin configuration, with one continuous loose fabric drape that envelops both cowlings together rather than wrapping each engine individually. The pouch hangs baggy and loose — you cannot see the cowling shapes through the fabric. Cinch straps at the bottom gather the fabric below the lower units, and the pouch connects seamlessly to the main cover as one piece.
The mister nozzles, spreader lights, and stereo speakers are all mounted to the T-top frame below the roof panel. Our cover attaches at the underside edges of the T-top roof, so these accessories sit inside the covered zone and are fully protected from UV and weather. The fabric drapes around them without direct contact because the T-top structure creates clearance between the hanging fabric and the mounted hardware. Nothing needs to be removed before covering.
Yes, drain both livewells completely. Seventy gallons of standing water adds over 580 pounds of dead weight and creates a breeding ground for bacteria and odor under a covered boat. Pull the drain plugs on both the leaning post livewell and the transom livewell before installing the cover. For extended storage, leave the drain plugs out so any residual moisture or rain that gets past the cover can escape rather than pooling inside.
Yes. The 9-foot-4-inch beam on the Gamefish 27 approaches the width of many 30-foot boats, and our cover pattern uses proportionally wider panels to maintain full hull coverage. The fabric extends down past the chine on both sides, covering roughly 85-90 percent of the hull. The wider beam also means the cover forms a broader, lower-profile dome under the T-top rather than a tall peaked shape, which reduces wind catch and keeps the fabric more stable during coastal gusts.
The 14 rod holders are mounted along the gunwales and leaning post at deck level, well below where the cover drapes. The coffin box is a flush-mounted recessed compartment in the deck. None of these features protrude above the gunwale line or create sharp edges that could stress the fabric. We recommend removing any rods stored in the holders before covering, and closing and latching the coffin box lid so the covered compartment stays dry.
The Gamefish 27's 21-degree deadrise creates a substantially deeper hull profile than bay boats running 12-15 degrees. Our cover accounts for this with extra fabric depth at the centerline keel and steeper-tapered side panels that follow the hull's sharper V-shape downward from the chine. On a flat bay boat, the cover would sit wide and low at the bottom. On the Gamefish 27, it follows the deeper contour more closely, giving a clean fit without excess fabric pooling beneath the keel.
A full 179-gallon tank adds roughly 1,075 pounds to the boat's approximately 4,500-pound dry weight. This changes tongue weight and can slightly alter how the boat sits on the trailer, but the cover fits identically regardless of fuel level because it attaches to the T-top frame above and the trailer frame below. What matters is that the boat sits level on the trailer bunks. If you store with a full tank, the extra weight actually stabilizes the trailer stance and gives the cover a more consistent drape.
A T-top mooring cover attaches under the T-top roof and drapes over the cockpit, helm, and engines while the hardtop stays exposed for airflow. Full enclosures seal everything shut, trapping heat and moisture — a serious problem on an offshore boat like the Gamefish 27 that comes back coated in salt spray after every trip. Our mooring cover lets humid salty air escape through the open roof line while still blocking UV, rain, and debris from reaching the electronics, upholstery, and fishing hardware below.
For an offshore boat that regularly encounters salt spray, direct UV, and extended dock time between trips, most Gamefish 27 owners choose Sunbrella for its superior long-term UV resistance and colorfastness. The larger fabric surface area on a 27-foot twin-engine boat means replacement is a bigger investment, so Sunbrella's extended lifespan pays off. Our 9-ounce marine canvas is still an excellent option at a lower price point if you rinse the boat and cover regularly and store under partial shade.
We need your model year, T-top type and roof dimensions, and engine configuration — specifically the horsepower and make of your twin outboards. The Gamefish 27 comes in Forward Seating and Coffin Box variants with slightly different deck layouts, so knowing your exact model helps us match the cover pattern. Also let us know about any aftermarket additions to the T-top like outriggers, a radar dome, or additional rod holders so the cover clears all hardware properly.
Sea Hunt 27 Gamefish T-Top Boat Cover – Offshore-Grade Protection for a Serious Fishing Machine
Your Sea Hunt 27 Gamefish is built to run offshore — protect it with a custom-fitted T-top mooring cover engineered to handle this 27-foot 2-inch center console. With a 9-foot 4-inch beam, approximately 4,500 lbs dry weight, and a deep-vee hull with 21-degree deadrise, the 27 Gamefish is designed to cut through open-water chop on the way to the fishing grounds. Our cover fits over the factory T-top frame with its integrated mister system, spreader lights, and stereo speakers, extending from bow to stern and fully enclosing the twin Yamaha outboard engines (up to F250 each, 500HP combined). Looking for covers across the full Sea Hunt boat cover lineup? We build custom-fitted covers for every model in the fleet.
179-Gallon Range and the Storage Protection It Demands
The 27 Gamefish carries 179 gallons of fuel for extended offshore runs. That kind of range means the boat often sits docked between trips, accumulating UV damage, salt crystallization, and weather wear. Our Sunbrella marine-grade fabric cover prevents all of it — blocking UV rays that fade gelcoat and crack vinyl, while remaining breathable enough to prevent moisture buildup underneath. The cover pattern accounts for the wide 9-foot-4-inch beam, large T-top footprint, and twin engine transom configuration. If you fish the same offshore waters with a slightly larger hull, check out our Sea Hunt 28 Gamefish T-Top cover built for the next size up in the Gamefish family.
Tournament-Grade Hardware Worth Protecting
With a 40-gallon livewell in the leaning post, a 30-gallon transom livewell, 14 rod holders, and coffin box storage, the 27 Gamefish has serious fishing hardware worth protecting. Heavy-duty buckles and wide straps secure the cover at multiple points along the gunwales, keeping it locked down through coastal winds and seasonal storms. Whether docked at the marina, on a triple-axle trailer, or stored under a boat barn, your investment stays protected. The 27 Gamefish shares its deep-V offshore DNA with dual-purpose boats like the Sea Hunt 27 Escape T-Top, and both benefit from the same precision patterning approach. Available in navy, black, and charcoal gray.
