Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Sea Pro 255 is 25'5" LOA with an 8'6" beam. Our custom-fitted T-Top cover wraps the hull below your hardtop frame and is engineered specifically for the 255's deep-vee hull shape and twin-engine transom. We'll verify your T-Top dimensions before cutting to ensure a perfect fit.
Yes. Our T-Top cover wraps the hull below the hardtop, leaving the transom and engines accessible. The cover is patterned to fit cleanly around the 255's twin-engine transom configuration without interfering with engine access, tilt mechanisms, or rigging. Installation and removal are straightforward even with twin outboards.
Our T-Top cover wraps the hull and cabin area below the hardtop structure. The T-Top frame itself remains exposed, allowing proper air circulation and preventing moisture buildup beneath the fabric. This design protects your console, upholstery, and fish boxes from UV damage while keeping the hardtop ventilated.
The 255 carries 120 gallons—serious offshore range for a 25-foot center console. With efficient twin engines at cruising speed, you can run 50+ miles offshore and back without worrying about fuel. The deep-vee hull burns efficiently at displacement speeds, maximizing every gallon. Our cover keeps your fuel systems and deck protected from UV degradation between trips.
Three things: the 18-degree transom deadrise cuts through head seas that flatten bay boats, the twin-engine capability (up to 500 HP total) gives you the power and redundancy needed offshore, and the 120-gallon fuel tank provides genuine bluewater range. This is a boat designed to cross inlets, run reef lines, and handle unpredictable ocean conditions.
An 18-degree deadrise means the hull is sharper at the transom compared to flatter bay boats (12-15 degrees). This translates to a softer, more comfortable ride in waves and chop. The trade-off is slightly less stability at rest compared to flatter hulls, but the 8'6" beam compensates well. For offshore fishing, the deeper V makes a significant difference in crew comfort on long runs.
The 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric is our value option, offering 5-7 years of durability with excellent UV and water resistance. Sunbrella acrylic is premium—it lasts 8-10 years, resists fading better, and handles extreme weather more reliably. For a twin-engine offshore boat like the 255, most owners invest in Sunbrella to match the vessel's premium capability.
Our 9oz solution-dyed cover weighs approximately 20-22 lbs for the 255's hull. The Sunbrella option is slightly heavier at 23-25 lbs. Both are manageable for two people to deploy or stow, and our reinforced tie-down system keeps everything secure even in exposed marina slips where wind is a factor.
Yes. We back our solution-dyed marine fabric with a 5-year coverage warranty and Sunbrella with an 8-year warranty. These cover manufacturing defects and seam failures. Wear from UV exposure, weathering, or improper care is excluded—that's normal aging.
Absolutely. Browse our full Sea Pro offshore lineup—we carry covers for the 239, 248, 259, 27, and 320 DLX T-Top models. Each cover is tailored to that boat's unique hull shape and twin or single engine configuration. Sea Pro 255 T-Top Boat Cover

The Sea Pro 255 is a serious offshore center console—25’5″ of deep-vee hull with 18-degree deadrise, twin-engine capability up to 500 HP total, and a 120-gallon fuel tank that gives you genuine bluewater range. This is not a bay boat with pretensions; it’s a purpose-built offshore fishing platform designed to cross rough inlets, run reef lines 30+ miles out, and handle the unpredictable conditions that come with ocean fishing. At 4,200 lbs dry with an 8’6″ beam, the 255 is substantial enough to handle big seas yet nimble enough for a competent crew to trailer and launch at coastal ramps. The twin-engine setup provides the redundancy every offshore captain wants—lose an engine 20 miles out and you’re still coming home. Our custom T-Top cover wraps the hull below the hardtop frame, shielding your console, upholstery, electronics, and fish boxes from UV exposure, salt spray, and weather degradation.

Sea Pro built the 255 for anglers who measure their fishing days in miles offshore, not minutes from the dock. The 18-degree transom deadrise slices through head seas that send flatter hulls airborne, delivering a ride quality that keeps your crew comfortable on 50-mile round trips. The 120-gallon fuel capacity means you fill up once and fish all day without watching the gauge—a luxury that most 25-foot boats cannot match. Sea Pro’s 3D CAD hull design and foam-filled fiberglass construction deliver the structural integrity these offshore conditions demand. Your investment in this capable platform deserves protection that matches the engineering. Our T-Top cover features reinforced double-stitched seams, hem cord at the rubrail, and adjustable tie-down straps. Choose between 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric (5–7 years) or premium Sunbrella acrylic (8–10 years), both UV-resistant, water-repellent, and mold-resistant.

Deep-Vee Performance & Offshore Range

The Sea Pro 255 earns its place in the Offshore family through sheer capability. The deep-vee hull entry knifes through confused seas at inlet mouths where wind chop stacks against outgoing tide—conditions that test every boat and captain. Twin outboards provide not just speed (the 255 runs nearly 50 mph with twin 150s) but also the safety redundancy that responsible offshore anglers demand. Standard features include rod storage, fish boxes, and a console layout with full instrumentation for navigation and fish-finding. The T-Top provides shade during long trolling runs; our cover provides protection at the dock, on the lift, or in storage. In humid saltwater environments, unprotected boats lose their gelcoat, upholstery, and electronics value rapidly—a quality cover is the most cost-effective way to protect a twin-engine offshore investment.
