Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions

The 175 carries a 45-gallon fuel tank — 50% more than the 170's 30 gallons — while adding only 100 lbs and 8 inches of length. At 115 HP, that 45-gallon tank delivers full-day fishing range that the smaller Heritage models can't match. You can run further, fish longer, and return without the fuel anxiety that limits 15-16 foot boats on extended outings.
Yes. The cover wraps the entire boat from bow to stern as one continuous piece. Fabric extends past the transom and drapes over the engine cowling completely. Only the lower unit and propeller remain visible below. No separate engine cover or boot is needed — it's all one integrated piece.
The 185 steps up to 18'6" with a wider 7'4" beam, 150 HP max (versus 115), 54-gallon tank, and 2,250 lbs dry weight. The 185 is a meaningfully bigger platform with more power and range. The 175 offers the best balance of fuel capacity and easy single-axle trailering — it's the largest Heritage model that still feels truly compact to tow and store.
The 175CC has been succeeded by newer models in EdgeWater's Heritage lineup. Our cover patterns are maintained for all EdgeWater models regardless of production status — the same custom-fit quality whether your boat is a classic or current-year.
At 1,800 lbs dry and 17'6" LOA, the 175 rides on a standard single-axle trailer. Total tow package runs roughly 2,600–2,800 lbs loaded — well within the capability of most SUVs and pickup trucks. The 7'3" beam fits standard garage doors easily.
The SPI hull handles rougher water than you'd expect from a 17-foot boat — the one-piece construction won't flex, crack, or delaminate. That said, the 175 is designed for protected waters and nearshore fishing: bays, sounds, inlets, rivers, and calm ocean days within a few miles of shore. On settled weather days, experienced operators take Heritage boats to nearshore reefs without issue.
The 175 includes a livewell, rod holders, under-gunwale rod storage, a center console with storage, and a self-bailing cockpit. The 45-gallon fuel tank is the standout — it lets you fish a full day at range without the fuel math that constrains smaller tanks. The cockpit is sized for 2–3 anglers casting comfortably.
Rinse with fresh water after every saltwater outing or every two weeks during storage. Full soap wash twice per season. Inspect tie-down straps, stitching, and grommets monthly. Check for chafing at hardware contact points. Always dry the cover completely before storing in a bag — trapped moisture promotes mildew.
Note any Power-Pole, trolling motor, or aftermarket bracket during ordering. These accessories change the hull profile at the bow or transom and need pattern adjustments for a proper fit. Our standard pattern is cut to factory specifications.
Both are excellent marine-grade options. Standard 9oz solution-dyed fabric uses color locked into the fiber during manufacturing, providing 5–7 years of UV and weather resistance. Sunbrella acrylic is the premium option — a tighter weave with superior UV stability delivering 8–10 years. For boats stored outdoors year-round in intense sun, Sunbrella pays for itself over time.

Our covers are not designed for In Water use. Selecting this option is acknowledging that you will have to take the cover to a local canvas shop for modification and will void your warranty.

EdgeWater 175 Center Console Boat Cover

The EdgeWater 175CC is the range leader of the small Heritage lineup — 17’6” of SPI vacuum-infused hull on a 7’3” beam with 115 HP and a 45-gallon fuel tank that delivers full-day fishing range the smaller models can’t match. At 1,800 lbs dry, the 175 is the largest Heritage center console that still feels truly compact to tow, store, and launch single-handed. One-piece foam-filled unsinkable construction, wood-free build, 316L stainless — the full EdgeWater engineering commitment at a size that fits your driveway.

A Perfect Fit center console cover wraps the entire 175 — hull, console, cockpit, and outboard engine — in UV-resistant solution-dyed marine fabric. One continuous piece from bow past the transom, draping over the engine cowling for complete protection during trailer storage or seasonal layup.

Extended Range, Complete Protection

A 45-gallon tank means the 175 goes further and stays out longer than any Heritage boat below it — and that capability deserves protection between trips. UV, salt spray, rain, and debris attack gel coat, electronics, and engine finish every day the boat sits uncovered. Our center console cover keeps everything in launch-ready condition, protecting the investment that lets you fish harder and range further.
