7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
The 230 jumps nearly two feet in overall length (24'5" vs 22'6") while maintaining the same 8'6" beam. This added length provides significantly more deck space, a larger 110-gallon fuel tank (vs 72 gallons), and improved ride quality in offshore seas. Both share the SPI hull construction and 300 HP max power.
The 230's 110-gallon tank reflects its positioning as a crossover between inshore and offshore fishing. The additional fuel capacity extends range for all-day offshore trips, reducing the need for mid-trip fuel stops. This larger tank is internal to the hull and has no impact on cover fit.
Yes. The 230 features an electric anchor windlass at the bow, and our cover pattern accounts for the windlass housing and anchor roller. The cover drapes over or around the windlass cleanly, providing protection without interfering with anchor deployment when the cover is removed.
The 230's integrated battery charger and electrical system are housed within the console and under-deck compartments. The T-Top cover protects all exposed electrical access points, switch panels, and wiring connections from corrosive salt spray and moisture intrusion.
One person can install the cover, but two people make it significantly faster on a 24'5" boat. A solo installer typically takes 15–20 minutes, while two people can have the cover fully secured in 10–12 minutes. The added length means more strap tightening on both sides.
Our standard pattern accommodates factory T-Top configurations. If your 230 has an aftermarket rocket launcher (overhead rod holders), let us know during ordering and we'll modify the pattern for clean clearance. The hardtop and rocket launcher remain exposed above the cover.
The SPI hull's vacuum-infused construction creates a denser, more uniform laminate with fewer voids than hand-laid fiberglass. This means fewer pathways for saltwater intrusion, virtually eliminating osmotic blistering. Combined with a T-Top cover blocking direct salt spray, the 230's hull and gel coat maintain factory condition for years.
For year-round outdoor storage — especially in saltwater environments — our Sunbrella acrylic option (8–10 year warranty) provides the longest service life. For seasonal or covered storage, the solution-dyed marine fabric (5–7 years) offers excellent protection at a lower price point.
Our reinforced stitching and tie-down system is designed for sustained coastal winds. During tropical storm or hurricane conditions, we recommend removing the cover and following your marina's storm preparation protocol for the boat itself.
The 230's relatively shallow 15" draft makes it versatile for both deep-water and shallow-water fishing. This draft measurement is unrelated to trailering — the cover fits identically whether the boat is on a trailer, dock lift, or in the water. The 8'6" beam is within standard trailering width limits.
EdgeWater 230 T-Top Boat Cover
The EdgeWater 230 stretches the Center Console Series to a full 24’5″ — a single-engine fishing platform with 110 gallons of fuel, 300 HP max power, and the deck space to handle serious offshore trips. Built on the same patented SPI hull as every EdgeWater, the 230 delivers the vacuum-infused, foam-filled, unsinkable construction that has earned the brand seven consecutive NMMA Customer Satisfaction awards. With features like an electric windlass, integrated battery charger, 28-gallon livewell, and insulated fish box, the 230 is equipped for multi-day fishing adventures along the Atlantic coast.
Protecting that level of equipment requires more than a generic cover. Perfect Fit’s custom T-Top cover is patterned to the 230’s exact SPI hull dimensions — all 24’5″ of length and 8’6″ of beam — wrapping the cockpit, console, livewells, fish boxes, and all deck-mounted hardware in UV-resistant, salt-proof solution-dyed marine fabric. The reinforced stitching and adjustable tie-down system keeps the cover locked to the rubrail through coastal wind, rain, and extended storage.
Offshore Range on a Single Engine
EdgeWater designed the 230 for anglers who want offshore range without the complexity and fuel burn of dual outboards. The 110-gallon tank and efficient single-engine setup deliver all-day fishing capability at offshore waypoints, while the 300 HP max power provides quick runs to productive reef systems and wrecks. The SPI hull’s PermaGrid structural system keeps the 230 rigid and responsive through rough inlet conditions — and our T-Top cover ensures that every fishing feature and piece of hardware stays protected when the 230 is parked between trips.
