Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions

The standard cover for the Albemarle 24 is crafted from 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric — a tightly woven polyester that resists UV fading, mildew, and water penetration for 5 to 7 years of reliable service. We also offer a premium Sunbrella acrylic option rated for 8 to 10 years. Both fabrics are breathable and solution-dyed, meaning the pigment is embedded into the fiber during manufacturing for superior fade resistance.
Yes. The cover is pattern-cut specifically for the Albemarle 24 hull and T-Top frame. It wraps the hull below the hardtop with reinforced cutouts that fit snugly around the T-Top support legs. The hardtop roof remains exposed on top while everything below — console, leaning post, rod holders, fishboxes, seating, and the transom workstation — is fully enclosed.
Installation takes one person under five minutes. Drape the cover over the Albemarle 24 hull beneath the T-Top hardtop, align the reinforced cutouts with the T-Top support legs, and secure the adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs along the rubrail. No tools or additional hardware required.
Yes. The Albemarle 24 cover is reinforced for trailering at highway speeds. The adjustable tie-down straps and hem cord keep the fabric taut and secure during transport, so you can tow your Albemarle 24 directly from the ramp to storage without removing the cover.
Absolutely. The cover creates a complete barrier over the entire cockpit of the Albemarle 24, shielding helm electronics, GPS, fishfinder, VHF radio, seat cushions, and leaning post upholstery from UV rays, rain, salt spray, bird droppings, and airborne debris. The breathable fabric prevents condensation buildup that can damage sensitive electronics.
Every Albemarle 24 cover ships with a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The 9oz solution-dyed fabric is engineered for 5 to 7 years of service life, and the Sunbrella acrylic option is rated for 8 to 10 years — both well beyond the warranty period.
The Albemarle 24 cover is water-resistant with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish that causes rain and spray to bead up and roll off. It is intentionally breathable rather than fully waterproof — this allows trapped moisture and humidity to escape, preventing mildew growth and condensation that can damage your Albemarle 24's interior surfaces and electronics.
The cover fits all standard production years of the Albemarle 24 equipped with the factory T-Top. The Albemarle 24 was produced for 37 consecutive model years with consistent hull dimensions, so the same custom pattern fits whether your hull is an early-production model or one of the final builds.
The 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric is available in Navy, Black, and Charcoal. If you upgrade to the Sunbrella acrylic option, you gain access to an expanded color palette with additional shades. All colors are solution-dyed, meaning the pigment is locked into the fiber rather than applied to the surface, so they resist fading far longer than surface-dyed alternatives.
Shipping is a $30 flat rate per cover to anywhere in the continental United States. Orders typically ship within 1 to 2 business days. The Albemarle 24 cover arrives folded in a compact package that is easy to store until your next trip to the ramp.

Albemarle 24 T-Top Boat Cover — Nearly 1,000 Hulls of Proven Offshore Heritage

The Albemarle 24 is a 24-foot deep-V sportfishing center console built by Albemarle Boats in Edenton, North Carolina — a premium builder that has been crafting offshore hulls since the early 1970s. The 24 was produced for 37 consecutive model years with nearly 1,000 hulls built, making it one of the most enduring sportfishing platforms ever manufactured. At 24′ LOA with an 8′ beam, a dry weight of approximately 5,500 lbs with engine, and a fuel capacity near 130 gallons feeding up to 300 horsepower, the Albemarle 24 was built heavy and built right — a 24-degree deadrise deep-V hull that cuts through offshore chop with a ride quality that lighter boats simply cannot replicate. The 18-inch draft keeps the hull stable in rough conditions while still allowing access to nearshore structure. Our custom T-Top cover for the Albemarle 24 is pattern-cut to protect every surface of that legendary deep-V hull — the helm station, leaning post, rod holders, fishboxes, and all cockpit upholstery — from UV degradation, salt corrosion, rain, and wind-borne debris. Browse our full selection of boat shade kits for additional sun protection during long days on the water.

Tailored to the Albemarle 24’s Heavy-Duty Offshore Cockpit

This cover wraps beneath the T-Top hardtop and extends to the rubrail on all sides, with reinforced cutouts that align precisely with the T-Top support legs. The Albemarle 24’s center console, helm electronics, leaning post, rod storage, insulated fishboxes, and transom workstation are all enclosed beneath a smooth, taut canopy secured by adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs. One person can complete the full installation in under five minutes — drape the cover over the hull below the hardtop, align the reinforced cutouts with the T-Top legs, strap down at the rubrail, and walk away. At 5,500 lbs, the Albemarle 24 is a serious trailering load, but this cover is fully reinforced for highway-speed towing so your boat stays protected from the dock to the driveway and back. If you run a shallow-draft center console out of the Carolina sounds, take a look at the Jones Brothers Cape Fisherman cover — a versatile inshore platform built just down the coast in Morehead City.

Protection That Matches Albemarle’s Half-Century Build Standard

Albemarle built the 24 with the same uncompromising construction philosophy that defines their entire lineup — heavy layup, steep deadrise, and a hull designed to take decades of offshore punishment. A boat with that kind of pedigree deserves a cover that holds its own against the elements. Our 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric delivers 5 to 7 years of UV and weather resistance with water-repellent, mildew-resistant performance built for the salt, humidity, and relentless sun of the Carolina coast and beyond. For owners who want the longest possible service life, our premium Sunbrella acrylic option extends durability to 8 to 10 years with the same breathable, solution-dyed construction that prevents moisture buildup underneath. Every seam is double-stitched with UV-resistant thread, and every cover ships with a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Whether your Albemarle 24 is a well-maintained classic or a late-production model, this cover keeps UV and salt off the console, cushions, and electronics so they last as long as that legendary deep-V hull. For another proven offshore sportfishing platform in a similar class, explore the Grady-White 257 Fisherman T-Top cover — a premium center console with the same kind of heritage and rough-water capability.
