7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Our Sea Hunt 160 Triton covers are custom-patterned specifically for this model's hull profile and deck configuration — the 16'0" LOA, 6'8" beam, modified-V hull, open center console with helm station, and aft deck. The pattern accounts for every contour of the 160 Triton so the cover fits snugly without bunching around the console or leaving gaps at the bow. Simply select your model year and any aftermarket accessories during checkout.
Since the 160 Triton is an open center console with no T-top frame, the cover wraps over the entire boat as one continuous piece from bow to stern. It attaches along the rubrail and gunwale using stainless-steel snaps, adjustable straps, and an elastic hem cord that holds the bottom edge snug against the hull. A support pole system prevents water from pooling on the flat areas of the cover, particularly over the open console area.
The cover is one single continuous piece of fabric — it doesn't stop at the transom. The fabric extends past the transom and drapes loosely over the single outboard engine (up to 90 HP) as part of the same cover, then gathers and cinches at the bottom with straps. The engine is completely hidden under the fabric — you can't see the cowling shape at all. Only the lower unit shaft is visible below. There is no separate engine boot or engine cover to deal with.
Our covers extend well below the chine — the widest point of the hull where it transitions from the vertical sides to the V-bottom. On the 160 Triton, only a thin 6–10 inch strip of the curved V-bottom hull is visible below the cover's bottom edge. When trailered, the cover's bottom edge sits level with the top of the trailer tires, and tie-down straps secure it to the trailer frame for a tight, wind-resistant fit.
Yes — the 160 Triton is one of the easiest boats in the Sea Hunt lineup to cover solo. At only 16 feet with a 6'8" beam and roughly 870 pounds dry weight, the compact size means the cover itself is lightweight and manageable for one person. The stainless-steel snaps and hem cord system are straightforward — most owners have the cover on and secured in under 10 minutes once familiar with the snap locations.
Yes. During the ordering process, you'll specify any aftermarket additions — trolling motors, Power-Poles, jack plates, upgraded electronics, and similar accessories. Our team adjusts the pattern to accommodate these modifications so the cover fits properly without putting stress on protruding accessories or leaving gaps around them. This is especially common on the 160 Triton, which many inshore anglers outfit with a bow-mount trolling motor.
With proper care, our covers typically last 7–10 years in harsh saltwater and sun environments like the Gulf Coast, Florida, and the Carolina marshes — exactly the waters where the compact 160 Triton excels for creek fishing and flats work. Both our 9 oz marine canvas and Sunbrella options use solution-dyed fibers that resist UV fading and mildew growth. We recommend rinsing the cover with fresh water after heavy salt exposure and allowing it to dry fully before folding.
A center console mooring cover is a full-boat protective cover that wraps over the entire vessel — bow to stern and down the hull sides — during storage or trailering. Unlike a bimini top (which only provides shade while underway) or a T-top cover (which attaches to a hardtop frame), a CC mooring cover has no overhead structure to clip onto. It relies on snaps along the gunwale, internal support poles for water shedding, and adjustable straps to provide total coverage of the boat, console, and engine as one continuous piece of fabric.
Both are excellent marine-grade options and you can't go wrong either way. The 9 oz canvas is our most popular choice — it's heavy-duty, tightly woven, and delivers excellent water resistance, UV protection, and breathability at a great price point with a 5-year fabric warranty. Sunbrella is the premium option, offering superior fade resistance and longevity with a 6-year warranty, often favored by owners who store their boats in extreme sun climates like South Florida or the Texas coast. Both are solution-dyed so the color goes all the way through the fiber and won't transfer to your gel coat.
Select your Sea Hunt 160 Triton from our product page, choose your preferred fabric (9 oz canvas or Sunbrella) and color, then note any aftermarket accessories during checkout. Each cover is built to order using your boat's specific pattern and model year. Typical production time is 2–4 weeks depending on volume. Your cover ships with everything you need — stainless-steel snaps, adjustable straps, support poles for water shedding, and step-by-step installation instructions. No additional hardware purchases required.
Sea Hunt 160 Triton Center Console Cover — Custom-Fit Protection
Shield your Sea Hunt 160 Triton from sun, rain, and salt exposure with a custom-fitted center console mooring cover built specifically for this compact 16-foot fishing boat. Every cover is patterned to match the 160 Triton’s 6’8″ beam, modified-vee hull, and open center console layout — delivering a snug, drum-tight fit that sheds water and blocks UV damage year after year. Choose from our heavy-duty 9 oz marine canvas (the most popular option for maximum durability) or premium Sunbrella acrylic fabric during checkout.
Because this boat has no T-top, the cover forms a low-profile shape that drapes smoothly over the center console and slopes gently toward bow and stern. It wraps the entire vessel from bow to transom, fully enclosing the single outboard engine and extending roughly 85–90% down the hull sides. Whether you store your 160 Triton on a trailer or in dry storage, the cover keeps gelcoat, electronics, and upholstery protected from moisture, pollen, bird droppings, and UV rays.
