Custom Fit Boat Covers for Islamorada Boatworks

Islamorada Boatworks builds custom flats and bay boats in the heart of the Florida Keys, where shallow-water fishing is a way of life. Boats like the Morada 18 flats skiff and Morada 24 bay boat are built for stealthy poling, long casts, and skinny-water performance — light, purpose-built hulls that reward careful ownership. A proper cover keeps that investment protected. Our custom Islamorada boat covers are patterned to your exact model and year for a snug fit a generic cover can't match.

Islamorada Boat Covers Features and Benefits

Patterned for Your Islamorada

Cut to your exact Morada model and year so the cover hugs the low skiff or bay profile instead of draping loose like a universal cover.

Marine-Grade, UV-Resistant Fabric

Solution-dyed marine fabric resists the intense Keys sun, salt, and humidity without fading, keeping your skiff protected season after season.

Water-Repellent Protection

A water-repellent finish helps rain and spray sheet off instead of pooling, while breathable construction limits trapped moisture and mildew.

Proudly Made in the USA

Every Islamorada cover is custom cut and sewn to order in the USA with reinforced seams, secure tie-downs, and a tailored fit.

About Islamorada Boatworks

Islamorada Boatworks builds custom flats and bay boats out of Islamorada, in the Florida Keys — the historic heart of saltwater flats fishing. The shop is best known for the Morada 18, a high-performance flats skiff with a huge casting deck that can be spec’d as a stripped-down guide boat or fully rigged for tournaments, and the larger Morada 24 bay boat, a design refined over decades. These are light, purpose-built poling skiffs made for skinny water and stealth.

Why Protect Your Islamorada with a Custom Cover?

A flats skiff lives in punishing conditions — relentless Keys sun, salt spray, and afternoon rain all work on the gelcoat, deck, and rigging. A well-fitted cover shields the casting deck, console, and seating on the trailer, at the dock, or in storage, helping a purpose-built boat hold its finish and its value.

Custom-Fit vs. Generic Covers

A universal cover sits loose, flaps at highway speed, and traps moisture against the finish. Our Islamorada covers are patterned to your specific model and year for a tailored fit that sheds water, resists wind, and stays put — the fit a hand-built skiff deserves.

Built for a Low-Profile Flats Skiff

A Morada skiff sits low and open, with a broad casting deck and a poling platform aft — a shape a generic cover bridges and gaps over. We pattern to your exact model so the cover hugs the deck and console and holds tight, accommodating details like a poling platform or console as your boat is configured.

Features of Our Islamorada Boat Covers

Each cover is crafted from marine-grade, UV-resistant fabric chosen to handle sun, salt, and humidity without fading or cracking. Reinforced stitching, tailored seams, and secure tie-downs keep it snug and quiet on the road, while a water-repellent finish helps rain and spray run off instead of soaking through.
