Our Sundance boat covers are custom-patterned for your exact model — built for these tough, no-wood composite skiffs and bay skiffs. Sundance is built by Composite Research in Blackshear, Georgia, known as ‘the better, affordable skiff’ — shallow-draft, stable boats for the bays, backwaters, and lakes. Because a skiff covers very differently from a deep-V (low freeboard, wide flat gunwales, sometimes no bow rail) — and layouts range from tiller to center console — a generic cover rarely fits right. Ours follows your boat’s exact lines. Every cover is made in the USA from marine-grade, water-repellent fabric.
T-Tops: 20 DX
Every Sundance cover is custom-patterned to your exact model and layout — tiller, center console, or modular console, with or without a T-top or bow rail — so it fits without flapping or pooling.
Built from marine-grade, UV-resistant fabric, our covers stand up to the sun, salt, and humidity these skiffs run in — resisting fading, mildew, and cracking season after season.
On the trailer, at the dock, or in storage, your cover shields the console, gelcoat, and seating from UV, rain, dust, and bird droppings, keeping your Sundance ready to fish and protecting its value.
Reinforced tie-downs and a snug, tailored cut keep the cover secure and quiet — even at highway tow speed or in a stiff breeze. Proudly custom-made in the USA.
Sundance is the oldest brand of Composite Research (CRI), built in Blackshear, Georgia and on the water since the 1990s. Known as ‘the better, affordable skiff,’ Sundance builds all-composite, no-wood skiffs and bay skiffs — foam-filled, with extra fiberglass stringers and a 10-year hull warranty — designed for shallow water, stability, and family fishing. The lineup spans compact K-series skiffs, the DX center-console skiffs (DX18, DX20, DX22), and the B and F bay skiffs, roughly 14 to 22 feet. (Sundance is not the same as the Sea Ray Sundancer.)
Time on the trailer and at the dock is when the elements do their damage: UV, salt, rain, and pollen fade gelcoat, stain seating, and wear on electronics. A snug, custom cover protects the console and open deck between trips — keeping your Sundance cleaner, drier, and ready to fish while protecting its resale value.
A universal cover sits loose, traps moisture, and flaps in the wind, chafing gelcoat and loosening fasteners at highway speed — and on a skiff’s wide, flat gunwales, a loose cover ponds water. Our Sundance covers are custom-patterned to your specific model and year for a snug, tailored fit that sheds water and stays put.
Sundance skiffs come in several layouts — tiller (T), center console (CC and CCR), and modular console (FLX, DX) — and many have a low side console, an open deck, or no bow rail. Each sits differently under a cover. We pattern to your exact model and layout, including older skiffs, so the cover matches the boat you actually own.
Each cover is crafted from marine-grade, UV-resistant fabric chosen to handle sun, salt, and humidity without fading or cracking. Reinforced stitching, tailored seams, and secure tie-downs keep it snug and quiet, while a water-repellent finish helps rain and spray run off instead of soaking through.

Our covers are made from water-resistant fabric, designed to repel most moisture while remaining breathable to prevent mildew and interior moisture buildup.
Yes, our covers are designed to stay securely in place during transport, ensuring your Sundance boat is protected from road debris and other potential damage while trailering.
Use mild soap and water for regular cleaning, and avoid harsh chemicals that may harm the material. A soft brush can help with stubborn stains, and be sure to rinse and dry the cover thoroughly before storage.
We recommend removing the cover if the boat is in the water for extended periods. This prevents prolonged exposure to moisture that can cause damage to the fabric and compromise its protective qualities.
We make custom covers across the Sundance lineup — the K-series skiffs, the DX center-console skiffs (DX18, DX20, DX22), and the B and F bay skiffs (CCR) — plus older models like the SV and NX series. Tell us your model, year, and layout and we'll match the right pattern.
