The 280 GFX2 T-Top cover is pattern-cut with reinforced cutouts that wrap cleanly around the D-shaped aluminum T-Top supports, allowing the cover to drape over the entire twin-hull platform — Command Center console, helm seating, rod holders, and cockpit — while the hardtop remains exposed above. The cutouts are double-stitched to resist wear where the fabric meets the frame.
Installation takes under five minutes and can be done by one person. Drape the cover over the 280 GFX2 from bow to stern, guide the reinforced cutouts around the T-Top supports, run the hem cord along the rubrail, and cinch down the adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs. No tools or snaps are required.
No — please remove the cover before towing your Twin Vee 280 GFX2. Our covers are not designed to be trailered: towing with the cover on can cause severe damage to the cover and voids the warranty. The cover is designed for storage only — on a trailer, boat lift, dry stack, or jet dock — and comes off in minutes at the ramp.
Absolutely. The cover creates a complete barrier over the 280 GFX2's console, 24-inch multifunction display, digital switching panel, bolstered captain's seats, and bow seating — blocking UV rays, rain, salt spray, bird droppings, and pollen. Keeping the Command Center and premium upholstery covered between trips is one of the best ways to protect your investment.
Your Twin Vee 280 GFX2 cover is backed by our manufacturer's warranty for the original purchaser. Materials and workmanship — stitching, straps, buckles, zippers, and other hardware — are covered for 1 year from the purchase date. Fabric is covered for 3 years on 7oz, 5 years on black or navy 9oz, and 6 years on Sunbrella. Covered defects are repaired or replaced after you contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The warranty does not cover improper use, accident or negligence, unauthorized modifications, improper care, mold or mildew, incorrectly placed orders, theft or loss, or acts of God — and traveling with the cover on or using it in the water voids the warranty. The cover is highly water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. All fabrics are treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that sheds rain and spray, while remaining breathable so moisture doesn't get trapped underneath. That breathability is what prevents mildew and mold from forming on the 280 GFX2's upholstery and deck during humid Florida summers.
This cover is patterned for the standard production Twin Vee 280 GFX2 center console (2024–present) with the factory T-Top. It is a different pattern from the original 280 GFX / 280 CC, which has a different T-Top design. If your 280 GFX2 has aftermarket additions like outriggers, a taller T-Top, or a custom tower, contact us before ordering so we can confirm fit.

Launched in 2024, the GFX2 platform was re-engineered from the waterline up using 5-axis CNC-cut molds and resin infusion, then given a “Command Center” console with a 24-inch multifunction display and all-digital switching you can run from your phone. Underneath the tech is the same catamaran ride Twin Vee has refined since 1994 — twin hulls that cushion head seas instead of slamming through them, with twin Yamaha 300s pushing the 280 GFX2 to nearly 60 mph.
