Even though Sea Hunt stopped producing the 200 T-Top, Perfect Fit keeps the original hull pattern on file and continues to manufacture custom-fitted T-Top boat covers for every 200 still in service. You order the same way as any current model — choose your fabric, select your options, and we build the cover to the 200's exact dimensions.
The 200's relatively light dry weight means the hull can shift more on a trailer. Our cover uses adjustable tension straps and quick-release buckles that cinch tightly around the beam, plus a reinforced trailer-tie-down system that keeps the fabric secure in the wind.
Absolutely. The cover is patterned to drape past the transom and hang loosely over the 200's outboard engine. The engine section is a roomy, baggy pouch — not a tight boot — so it accommodates common outboard setups without straining seams or snaps.
The 200's moderate deadrise produces a hull shape that flares outward fairly gradually from the keel to the gunwale. Our pattern accounts for this flare so the fabric drapes evenly down both sides, maintaining roughly 85–90 percent hull coverage all the way to trailer-tire level without bunching at the chines or gapping near the waterline.
No — please remove the cover before towing your Sea Hunt 200. Our covers are not designed to be trailered: towing with the cover on can cause severe damage to the cover and voids the warranty. The cover is designed for storage only — on a trailer, boat lift, dry stack, or jet dock — and comes off in minutes at the ramp.
The cover itself does not contact the fuel system — the tank sits below the deck. However, by sealing the cockpit from rain, UV, and moisture, the cover prevents water intrusion around deck fittings and fuel fill caps that can lead to contamination in the 200's fuel tank. For long-term layup, keeping the cover on is one of the simplest ways to protect the entire fuel delivery path.
Common add-ons like rod holders, antennas, and small electronics boxes generally fit under the cover without modification because we build extra ease into the fabric around the T-top frame. If you have oversized additions like large radar pods or outrigger mounts, let us know during ordering and we can adjust the pattern. The Sea Hunt 200 is a center console built on a V-hull. Designed for a single outboard engine, the 200 T-Top delivered lightweight inshore and nearshore fishing performance in a trailerable package. Sea Hunt has discontinued this model, but Perfect Fit continues to manufacture custom covers for every 200 T-Top still on the water.
