7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Our Sea Hunt 19 XP covers are custom-patterned to the boat's factory layout — center console, leaning post, grab rails, and rod holders — and we can accommodate common aftermarket additions like trolling motors, Power-Poles, jack plates, and electronics upgrades. During the ordering process, you'll specify any modifications so our team can adjust the pattern for a precise fit.
Since the 19 XP is a center console without a T-top, the cover wraps over the entire boat as one continuous piece. It attaches along the rubrail and gunwale using a combination of stainless-steel snaps, adjustable straps, and an elastic hem cord that holds the bottom edge snug against the hull. A support pole system prevents water pooling on the flat areas of the cover.
Our covers extend well below the chine — the widest point of the hull where it transitions from the vertical sides to the V-bottom. On the 19 XP, only a thin 6–10 inch strip of the curved V-bottom hull is visible below the cover's bottom edge. When trailered, the cover's bottom edge sits level with the top of the trailer tires, and tie-down straps secure it to the trailer frame.
The cover is one single continuous piece of fabric — it doesn't stop at the transom. The fabric extends past the transom and drapes loosely over the outboard engine as part of the same cover, then gathers and cinches at the bottom with straps. The engine cowling creates a natural rounded contour under the fabric, and only the lower unit shaft is visible below. There is no separate engine boot or engine cover to install.
Our 19 XP covers are designed primarily as mooring and storage covers, built for stationary protection while the boat is on a trailer, boat lift, or in dry storage. They are not intended for use while towing at highway speeds. The reinforced stitching and stainless snaps handle strong gusts at rest, but the cover should be removed before trailering to prevent wind damage.
The 19 XP is rated for a single outboard up to 150 HP, and our cover patterns accommodate engines across that full range — from compact four-strokes like the Yamaha F70 up to the maximum-rated Yamaha F150 or equivalent. The fabric's natural drape and cinch system adjusts to different cowling sizes without requiring a different cover pattern.
With proper care, our covers typically last 7–10 years in harsh saltwater and sun environments like Florida, the Gulf Coast, and the Carolinas. Both our 9 oz marine canvas and Sunbrella options use solution-dyed fibers that resist UV fading and mildew growth. We recommend rinsing the cover with fresh water after heavy salt exposure and allowing it to dry fully before storage to maximize its lifespan.
A center console mooring cover is a full-boat cover that wraps over the entire vessel — from bow to stern and down the hull sides — to protect it during storage. Unlike a bimini top (which only provides overhead sun shade while underway) or a T-top cover (which attaches to the T-top frame), a CC mooring cover has no overhead structure to attach to. It uses snaps along the gunwale, support poles for water drainage, and straps to create complete coverage of the entire boat and engine.
We offer two marine-grade options: 9 oz canvas and Sunbrella. The 9 oz canvas is our most popular choice — it's a heavy-duty, tightly woven fabric with excellent water resistance, UV protection, and breathability at a great value. Sunbrella is the premium option, offering the absolute best fade resistance and longevity, often preferred by owners in extreme sun climates. Both fabrics are solution-dyed, meaning the color goes all the way through the fiber rather than just sitting on the surface.
Simply select your Sea Hunt 19 XP from our product page, choose your fabric (9 oz canvas or Sunbrella) and color, and note any aftermarket accessories during checkout. Our team builds each cover to order using your boat's specific pattern. Typical turnaround is 2–4 weeks depending on current production volume, and the cover ships with all necessary mounting hardware, straps, and support poles included.
Sea Hunt 19 XP Boat Cover — Custom-Fitted Center Console Protection
The Sea Hunt XP 19 packs serious bay boat performance into a compact 18’11” hull with a 7’10” beam — and our custom-patterned covers are built to protect every square inch of it. Whether you fish inshore flats, tidal rivers, or coastal bays, a properly fitted cover keeps your XP 19 ready to launch at a moment’s notice.
Our Sea Hunt 19 XP center console covers are designed around the boat’s specific layout, including the center console, grab rails, and gunwale profile. Unlike one-size-fits-all covers that flap in the wind and pool water on flat surfaces, our covers follow the boat’s contours to shed rain, block UV damage, and keep out debris.
Why the Sea Hunt 19 XP Needs a Custom Cover
With a fuel capacity of 38 gallons, a single outboard rated up to 150 HP, and a 16-degree deadrise modified-V hull, the XP 19 is built to get you to the fish and back — efficiently and reliably. A quality boat cover extends that reliability by protecting your upholstery, electronics, and gelcoat from the elements between trips. Salt air, bird droppings, tree pollen, and intense UV exposure are the top causes of premature aging on center console boats stored outdoors, and the 19 XP’s open layout makes it especially vulnerable without proper coverage.
The XP 19 weighs approximately 1,500 pounds dry, making it easy to trailer — but that portability also means it’s often stored in driveways or open lots where sun and weather exposure are constant. Our covers are designed to handle exactly that scenario, with reinforced stitching at every stress point and stainless-steel snaps that stay secure even in strong wind gusts.
Built for the Sea Hunt XP 19 Layout
Every cover we build for the 19 XP is patterned to accommodate the boat’s specific features: the forward casting platform, center console with leaning post, rod holders, and any aftermarket accessories you’ve added. The fabric wraps securely around the console and follows the hull’s modified-V shape all the way down to the rubrail, so water sheets off instead of collecting in pockets.
We offer your choice of 9 oz marine-grade canvas (our most popular option) or premium Sunbrella fabric, both solution-dyed for maximum UV and fade resistance. Each cover ships with all necessary hardware — snaps, straps, and support poles — so installation is fast and frustration-free.
A custom-fitted mooring cover does more than keep leaves out of your boat. It preserves your resale value by protecting the gelcoat from UV oxidation, prevents mildew from forming on cushions and upholstery, and stops corrosion on exposed hardware and electronics. For a bay boat like the XP 19 that spends its life in saltwater environments, that protection translates directly into lower maintenance costs and a longer hull life.
