Albemarle has built rugged Carolina-style express sportfishing boats in Edenton, North Carolina since 1978. Founded by J. Scott Harrell Sr. after he grew tired of trade-ins that couldn't survive hard fishing near the Albemarle Sound and Cape Hatteras, the brand earned its name building tough, reliable express boats. The lineup runs from about 24 to 41 feet across Express, Convertible, and center console models. A serious offshore fishing boat like this deserves a cover cut to match — ours are patterned to your exact model and year.
T-Tops: Albemarle 24
Cut to your exact Albemarle model and year — express, convertible, or center console — so the cover fits clean instead of draping loose like a universal cover.
Solution-dyed marine fabric stands up to brutal offshore sun, salt, and humidity without fading, protecting your investment season after season.
A water-repellent finish helps rain and spray sheet off instead of pooling, while breathable construction limits trapped moisture and mildew.
Every Albemarle cover is custom cut and sewn to order in the USA with reinforced seams, secure tie-downs, and a tailored fit.
Albemarle Boats was founded in 1978 by J. Scott Harrell Sr. in Edenton, North Carolina. Running a sportfishing dealership near the Albemarle Sound and Cape Hatteras, Harrell saw how hard local anglers fished and how poorly ordinary boats held up — so he built his own. The Albemarle 24 made its mark in 1979, the 27 Express built the brand’s reputation, and the first 32 convertible arrived in 1988. In 2015 Albemarle united with Carolina Classic. Today the company builds Carolina-style express, convertible, and center console sportfishers from about 24 to 41 feet at the same Edenton facility.
A hard-fished offshore boat is a major investment, and the elements go to work the moment it stops running. UV fades gelcoat and upholstery, salt corrodes hardware and electronics, and standing water breeds mildew. A snug cover shields the cockpit, helm, cabin, and seating on the trailer, at the slip, or in storage — protecting both condition and resale value.
A universal cover sits loose, flaps at highway speed, and traps moisture against the gelcoat. Our Albemarle covers are patterned to your specific model and year for a tailored fit that sheds water, resists wind, and stays put — the kind of fit a boat built this tough deserves.
Albemarle builds express boats, convertibles, and center consoles, so two Albemarles can need completely different covers — with hard-tops, towers, and cabin structures that a flat, generic cover never follows. We pattern to your exact model and configuration for a clean fit, even on older Albemarle hulls.
Each cover is crafted from marine-grade, UV-resistant fabric chosen to handle sun, salt, and humidity without fading or cracking. Reinforced stitching, tailored seams, and secure tie-downs keep it snug and quiet on the road, while a water-repellent finish helps rain and spray run off instead of soaking through.

It does. A hard-top, tower, or cabin structure changes the shape the cover has to clear, and each takes a different pattern. Let us know your exact configuration and we'll build the cover to fit it.
