Key West 246 Bay Reef T-Top Cover — Legacy 25-Footer, Serious Protection
The Key West 246 Bay Reef was the flagship of the Bay Reef lineup during its production years — a full 25-foot bay boat with the beam, fuel capacity, and deadrise to handle everything from backcountry flats to nearshore reefs. Our custom-fitted T-Top cover wraps the entire hull below the hardtop — the center console, gunwales, seating, and outboard engine — while leaving the fiberglass T-Top fully exposed above. At roughly 25 feet long with an 8-foot-6-inch beam and around 3,000 pounds dry, the 246 Bay Reef is a substantial platform that our cover is pattern-cut to match precisely.
The T-Top’s support legs pass through fitted cutouts in the cover fabric, creating a clean transition between the covered hull and the exposed hardtop. The cover slopes downward from the T-Top frame, draping smoothly to the bow and stern. At the stern, the fabric extends past the transom to fully enclose the outboard engine. A hem cord cinches along the rubrail while the bottom edge reaches nearly to the waterline.
