7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — this cover is pattern-cut specifically for the Key West 261 Billistic hull with a T-Top. It wraps the stepped hull below the hardtop, with fitted cutouts for the T-Top support legs.
No. The cover works with the T-Top in place. The support legs pass through fitted cutouts in the fabric.
Yes. The Billistic’s stepped hull is a different profile than a standard deep-V, and our cover is pattern-cut specifically for that shape. It contours to the stepped hull precisely — not a generic fit.
Yes. The cover extends past the transom and fully encloses both outboard engines in one continuous piece. No separate engine covers needed.
Two options: our heavy-duty 9oz solution-dyed polyester (the most popular choice) or premium Sunbrella acrylic canvas (the best for UV resistance and breathability). Both are solution-dyed for permanent colorfastness.
Yes. The T-Top cover is ideal for lift-stored boats. The adjustable tie-down straps keep the cover secure in wind, and the T-Top frame creates a natural peaked shape that sheds rain.
Yes — the 261 Billistic is currently in production as the entry model in Key West’s high-performance Billistic lineup. Our cover fits all model years.
About 20 minutes with one person. Thread the T-Top legs through the fitted cutouts, drape from bow to stern, cinch the hem cord along the rubrail, and secure the tie-down straps.
The T-Top cover slopes downward from the hardtop frame like a tent, which naturally sheds rain to both sides. The peaked shape prevents pooling better than flat covers.
The cover is available in Navy, Black, and Charcoal. All three colors are solution-dyed for permanent colorfastness.
The Key West 261 Billistic is the entry into Key West’s high-performance lineup — a 26-foot stepped-hull center console built for speed and serious offshore fishing. Unlike conventional deep-V hulls, the Billistic runs a patented fore/aft stepped hull with a 20-degree deadrise that gets on plane faster, burns less fuel, and delivers a remarkably dry ride at speed. Our custom-fitted T-Top cover wraps the entire hull below the hardtop — the center console, gunwales, seating, and twin outboard engines — while leaving the fiberglass T-Top fully exposed above. At 26 feet 6 inches long with a 9-foot beam and 4,800 pounds dry, the 261 Billistic is a performance machine that our cover is pattern-cut to match precisely.
The T-Top’s support legs pass through fitted cutouts in the cover fabric, creating a clean transition between the covered hull and the exposed hardtop. The cover slopes downward from the T-Top frame, draping smoothly to the bow and stern. At the stern, the fabric extends past the transom to fully enclose both outboard engines. A hem cord cinches along the rubrail while the bottom edge reaches nearly to the waterline.
Contoured to the Billistic’s Stepped Hull
The Billistic’s stepped hull is a different shape than a standard deep-V — and our cover is pattern-cut specifically for that profile. Choose our heavy-duty 9oz solution-dyed polyester — the most popular option for its rugged durability and colorfastness — or upgrade to premium Sunbrella acrylic canvas for the best UV resistance and breathability available. Both fabrics are solution-dyed through the entire fiber, so color stays locked in permanently through years of sun, salt, and weather exposure.
Twin-Engine Coverage
The 261 Billistic runs twin outboards, and our cover is designed to enclose both engines completely. The fabric wraps past the transom and around both powerheads in one continuous piece — no separate engine covers needed. Installation takes about 20 minutes with one person.
