Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Mako 214 T-Top cover is available in 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric for reliable 5-7 year protection, or premium Sunbrella acrylic for 8-10 years of UV and weather resistance. A lighter 7oz option is also available. All fabrics are solution-dyed through the fiber for colorfastness and long-term durability.
Yes. The Mako 214 T-Top cover is pattern-cut with reinforced cutouts that wrap around the T-Top support legs. The cover drapes from the hardtop frame down to the rubrail, leaving the white fiberglass hardtop roof exposed on top while fully enclosing the hull, console, and cockpit below.
Installation takes one person under five minutes. Drape the cover over the bow, align the T-Top cutouts around the support legs, pull the fabric aft past the console and leaning post, then secure the adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs along the gunwale. No tools required.
Yes. The Mako 214 T-Top cover features reinforced stitching and a hem cord system designed for highway-speed trailering. The adjustable straps hold the cover tight against the hull at speed, preventing billowing or flapping during transport.
Absolutely. The Mako 214 T-Top cover creates a complete barrier over the helm console, fishfinder, GPS, VHF radio, leaning post cushions, and all cockpit upholstery. The water-repellent fabric blocks UV rays, rain, salt spray, and airborne debris that cause fading and deterioration.
Every Mako 214 T-Top cover includes a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The solution-dyed fabrics are engineered for 5-7 years of service life, and the Sunbrella option extends that to 8-10 years under normal conditions.
The Mako 214 T-Top cover is water-resistant with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that causes rain and spray to bead and roll off the fabric surface. The cover is also breathable, allowing trapped moisture and condensation to escape rather than pooling underneath — which prevents mildew growth.
Yes. This cover is designed to fit all standard production years of the Mako 214 equipped with a factory T-Top. Since the 214's hull dimensions and T-Top mounting points have remained consistent across production runs, the cover fits all model years without modification.
The 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric is available in Navy, Black, and Charcoal. The premium Sunbrella acrylic line offers an expanded selection of colors. All colors are solution-dyed through the fiber for lasting colorfastness that won't fade, even in harsh saltwater sun.
Shipping is a flat rate per cover for delivery anywhere in the continental United States. Orders typically ship within 1-2 business days and arrive via standard ground carrier.

Mako 214 T-Top Boat Cover — Built for the Bay-to-Bluewater Crossover

The Mako 214 center console delivers a 21’5″ platform with an 8’6″ beam, weighing approximately 3,735 pounds and rated for up to 250 horsepower. The 214 represents Mako’s bay-to-offshore crossover philosophy — an 18-degree deadrise hull that handles open-water conditions while the 14-inch draft keeps skinny-water ramps and shallow flats accessible. With a 91-gallon fuel tank and the Mako Tough construction that has defined the brand since 1967, the 214 is built for anglers who refuse to choose between inshore and nearshore fishing. This custom-fitted T-Top cover pairs with the 214’s layout to deliver complete hull protection, and is a great companion to center console curtain options for anglers wanting full cockpit enclosure.

Tailored to the 214’s Dual-Purpose Layout

The Mako 214 features a spacious bow casting deck, an aft jump seat, a livewell, integrated rod storage, and a center console with full instrumentation — all protected under this pattern-cut cover. The fabric wraps from the T-Top frame down to the rubrail, with reinforced cutouts around the T-Top support legs and clearance for the transom-mounted outboard. Adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs secure the cover at the gunwale, and one person can complete installation in under five minutes. Like the Mako 21 Pro Skiff T-Top cover, this cover is built for highway-speed trailering with reinforced seams and a hem cord system that eliminates billowing.

Protection That Matches Mako Tough Standards

Choose between 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric rated for five to seven years of protection, or premium Sunbrella acrylic that extends service life to eight to ten years. Both options are water-repellent with a DWR finish, mildew-resistant, and breathable to prevent condensation buildup. Double-stitched seams and a continuous hem cord at the rubrail create a tight, wind-resistant fit that protects everything from the helm electronics to the bow cushions. Every cover includes a 2-year manufacturer warranty — the same quality standard found across other mid-range fishing platforms like the NauticStar 211 Angler T-Top cover.
