Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Mako 264 cover is built from 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric rated for five to seven years of UV and weather resistance. A 7oz option and a premium Sunbrella acrylic upgrade (eight to ten years) are also available. Solution-dyed construction fuses pigment into each fiber, preventing dye transfer to your 264’s gel coat.
Yes. The cover features reinforced cutouts pattern-cut to wrap around the 264’s T-Top legs. It drapes from the hardtop frame over the cockpit, console, and gunwales, leaving the hardtop roof exposed for ventilation.

Every cover includes a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering materials and workmanship. The fabric carries a separate durability rating — five to seven years for 9oz solution-dyed and eight to ten years for Sunbrella acrylic.
The cover is water-resistant with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Rain and spray bead off while the breathable fabric lets trapped moisture escape, preventing mildew and keeping your Mako 264’s cockpit dry.

Mako 264 T-Top Boat Cover — Twin-Engine Offshore Authority

The Mako 264 is a 26’0” center console engineered for serious offshore duty, with a 9’2” beam and a 21-degree deadrise hull that handles open-water conditions with confidence. Rated for up to 600 horsepower across twin outboards and carrying 194 gallons of fuel at roughly 4,500 pounds dry, the 264 has the power and range to reach distant fishing grounds and get home safely. Twin livewells — a 35-gallon unit at the leaning post and a 20-gallon transom well — keep bait alive all day while insulated fish boxes handle the catch. A center console curtain or custom T-Top cover from Perfect Fit Boat Covers protects this offshore workhorse between runs.

Tailored to the 264’s Big-Water Layout

Our cover is pattern-cut to the Mako 264’s 26-foot hull, wrapping under the T-Top frame and around the wide console, twin livewells, and transom fish boxes. Reinforced cutouts accommodate the T-Top legs without excess material, and adjustable tie-down straps with a hem cord at the rubrail secure the cover against wind and weather. One person can install the cover in under five minutes — drape, feed through the T-Top cutouts, strap, and buckle. The cover handles highway-speed trailering with reinforced stress points, and at roughly 20 inches of draft the 264 launches from standard ramps without issue. For the next size up, explore the Mako 282 cover for the same custom-fit precision on a larger platform.

Protection That Matches Mako Offshore Standards

Select our 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric for five to seven years of UV and weather resistance, or upgrade to Sunbrella acrylic for eight to ten years of premium protection. Both fabrics are water-repellent, mildew-resistant, and breathable — rain beads off the surface while trapped moisture vents from underneath. Solution-dyed construction locks pigment into every fiber so there is zero dye transfer to the 264’s gel coat or finish. Double-stitched seams and a 2-year manufacturer warranty come standard. For a compact Mako center console cover built to the same standard, check out the Mako 17 Pro Skiff center console cover.
