Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions

The 191 Hybrid measures 18’11″ and draws just 11″ of water, making it perfect for accessing flats, marshes, and rivers where larger boats can’t venture. The shallow draft combined with the hybrid design gives you power and efficiency in skinny water that bay boats dominate.
The boat seats 8 persons total. With aft fishing deck space and an aft livewell configuration, the 191 works well for buddy fishing or small tournament teams. Three-across aft jump seats and forward casting space give anglers room to move without crowding.
The smaller 32-gallon capacity (vs. larger models) reduces overall weight and improves efficiency on 115–150 HP engines. The hybrid design’s planing pods and air-assist chines maximize hole-shot and cruise efficiency, stretching each gallon for day-long fishing trips without frequent refueling.
Yes. The 13-gallon in-console livewell and 27-gallon aft livewell allow you to segregate catches—keep one species forward, another aft. Both wells are aerated to maintain water temperature and oxygen, critical for tournament weigh-ins and live-release compliance.
The 191 is more compact, with a streamlined console suited to shorter boats. Storage is thoughtfully arranged with battery and cast net compartments, while the console rod holders provide tackle organization without the abundance of gunnel space found in the larger 215 XTS or 244 XTS.
The moderate deadrise provides soft chop absorption and fuel efficiency while the sharper entry angle reduces bow rise in rough water. This balance makes the 191 Hybrid equally comfortable in small-water creeks and open water during moderate seas.
The dedicated cast net storage under the aft port seat keeps nets organized and within arm’s reach for baitfish harvesting. The aft fishing deck converts to a casting platform, essential for sight-casting in shallow water where quiet boat positioning matters.
Absolutely. The solution-dyed marine fabric is water-repellent with UV-blocking properties, protecting the boat from sun, saltwater spray, and freshwater mineral deposits during extended mooring. The hem cord and tie-downs keep the cover tight against wind and water infiltration.
The 191 Hybrid is fully trailerable. When installed, the cover flows smoothly from bow to stern without sagging on the trailer frame. Leave the cover on during transport to protect the windscreen and console from road debris.
Solution-dyed marine fabric (5–7 years) is ideal for seasonal storage if you pull the boat monthly. Sunbrella acrylic (8–10 years) is worth the investment if the boat stays moored year-round or exposed to intense UV and salt conditions.

NauticStar 191 Hybrid Center Console Cover — Skinny Water, Serious Fishing Power

The NauticStar 191 Hybrid is the entry point to hybrid fishing performance. Built in Amory, Mississippi, with 100% wood-free composite hull technology and the legendary STAR Performance System, this compact center console (18’11”) delivers shallow-water access that traditional offshore boats can’t match. The 11″ draft is your passport to marshes, flats, and skinny creeks where tournament bass and redfish hide. At 98″ wide with seating for 8, the 191 Hybrid bridges versatility and efficiency—small enough to garage and trail, large enough to fish all day without feeling cramped.

For anglers who prioritize shallow water, the 191 Hybrid checks every box. Twin aerated livewells (13 gallons in-console, 27 gallons aft) keep your catch in peak condition during tournaments. Console rod holders provide tackle organization, while the aft fishing deck and cast net storage make sight-casting and live-bait harvesting second nature. The boat’s 13.8° transom deadrise and 30.5° entry angle carve soft water without sacrificing fuel economy on modest 115–150 HP engines. With only a 32-gallon fuel tank, the 191 Hybrid maximizes range-per-gallon—perfect for anglers who spend hours poling shallow flats.

Protecting your 191 Hybrid means protecting your investment in shallow-water freedom. This custom center console cover climbs over the 25″ console and slopes to the stern, draping continuously without slack. The solution-dyed marine fabric (5–7 years) or premium Sunbrella acrylic (8–10 years) blocks UV rays that fade gelcoat and hardware, prevents saltwater corrosion, and resists mildew during storage. Double-stitched seams and a rubrail hem cord hold the cover fast through wind and weather, while adjustable tie-downs anchor your boat with confidence.

The 191 Hybrid Difference

NauticStar’s Limited Lifetime Hull Warranty and 5-year NauticGuard protection reflect the company’s commitment to longevity. Your cover extends that protection by shielding the hull, hardware, and trim during off-season storage and extended mooring. Whether you’re launching at dawn or pulling out after dark, the 191 Hybrid’s shallow draft and fishing firepower deserve a cover that doesn’t compromise on durability.
