7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
The cover attaches to the underside of the factory T-top frame and drapes down to protect roughly 85–90 percent of the hull sides, the cockpit, and the outboard engine. The hardtop roof stays fully exposed so rain runs off naturally.
Most customers pick our 9 oz marine-grade fabric — it's breathable, mildew-resistant, and built for year-round UV exposure. If you want extra fade resistance and color options, upgrade to Sunbrella fabric. Both materials are engineered for saltwater environments.
Yes. Every cover is patterned specifically for the 25 BXBR hull shape, beam width, and T-top footprint. It follows the bow flare, gunwale contours, and transom lines without excess material that could flap or pool water.
No — please remove the cover before towing your Sea Hunt 25 (BXBR). Our covers are not designed to be trailered: towing with the cover on can cause severe damage to the cover and voids the warranty. The cover is designed for storage only — on a trailer, boat lift, dry stack, or jet dock — and comes off in minutes at the ramp.
The aft section is patterned to drape over and fully enclose the outboard, protecting the powerhead and lower unit from sun, rain, and debris while the boat sits on a lift or on a trailer.
Your Sea Hunt 25 (BXBR) cover is backed by our manufacturer's warranty for the original purchaser. Materials and workmanship — stitching, straps, buckles, zippers, and other hardware — are covered for 1 year from the purchase date. Fabric is covered for 3 years on 7oz, 5 years on black or navy 9oz, and 6 years on Sunbrella. Covered defects are repaired or replaced after you contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The warranty does not cover improper use, accident or negligence, unauthorized modifications, improper care, mold or mildew, incorrectly placed orders, theft or loss, or acts of God — and traveling with the cover on or using it in the water voids the warranty. See our Warranty page for full details.
Our pattern accounts for the 25 BXBR's variable-deadrise design — steeper entry at the bow transitioning to a shallower angle at the transom. The cover follows these changing hull angles precisely, so there are no loose spots or pressure points along the chine.
The cover is water-resistant with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish — rain and spray bead up and roll off rather than saturating the fabric. It is intentionally not sealed waterproof because a fully sealed cover on the 25 BXBR's 8'6" beam would trap humid air underneath, promoting mildew on the upholstery, electronics, and gel coat. The breathable construction allows air to circulate while blocking virtually all direct water contact, which is critical for a 25-foot bay boat that often sits covered in warm, humid coastal climates.
The Sea Hunt 25 (BXBR) cover is available in 9oz solution-dyed polyester in Navy or Black, 7oz polyester in Black, or premium Sunbrella acrylic in Marine Blue, Black, or Smoke. Choose your fabric and color in the order options above.

The Sea Hunt 25 BXBR is a versatile 25-foot bay boat built for serious inshore anglers who need plenty of deck space and a stable, dry ride. With an 8′ 6″ beam and a variable-deadrise hull rated for up to 300 HP, the 25 BXBR handles open water with confidence while still drafting shallow enough for backwater flats. A factory T-top provides welcome shade on long days, and our custom-fitted boat cover attaches directly to the underside of that frame — keeping the hardtop roof exposed while shielding roughly 85–90 percent of the hull, including the outboard engine.
Every cover is patterned specifically for the 25 BXBR hull shape, so it follows the lines of the bow flare, gunwale contours, and transom without excess material flapping in the wind. Choose from our 9 oz marine-grade fabric (the most popular option) or premium Sunbrella fabric — both engineered to handle Florida sun, salt spray, and seasonal storms. Reinforced stitching at every stress point and marine-grade stainless-steel snaps ensure the cover stays secure on a boat lift or on a trailer. If you fish a similar-sized Sea Hunt, take a look at the Sea Hunt 25 BXFS T-Top cover for a close comparison.
Unlike generic one-size covers that pool water and chafe gelcoat, a Perfect Fit cover is designed to shed rain naturally and allow airflow underneath, reducing mildew and moisture buildup. That precision fit also means easier solo install — most owners have the cover on and snapped down in under ten minutes. Whether you trailer home after every trip or keep the boat on a lift, this cover delivers reliable protection season after season. Owners upgrading from a smaller rig may also want to browse the Sea Hunt 25 Escape T-Top cover for another popular 25-foot layout.
