Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Sea Pro 2400 SV Bay is 24' LOA with an 8'6" beam. Our custom-fitted T-Top cover wraps the hull below your hardtop frame and is engineered specifically for the 2400 SV Bay's distinctive SV-series hull shape. We'll verify your T-Top dimensions before cutting to ensure a perfect fit.
No—these are different boats. The 2400 SV Bay is a bay boat built on Sea Pro's legendary SV hull platform, designed for shallow-water fishing with a 16-degree deadrise and 14-inch draft. The Citation 2400 was a walkaround cuddy cabin model. Our cover is patterned specifically for the SV Bay hull, not the Citation.
Our T-Top cover wraps the hull and cabin area below the hardtop structure. The T-Top frame itself remains exposed, allowing proper air circulation and preventing moisture buildup. This design protects your upholstery, electronics, and gelcoat from UV damage while letting the hardtop breathe.
The SV (Sport Vee) hull uses variable deadrise technology—sharper entry at the bow transitioning to a flatter running surface at the transom. This gives you a softer ride in chop while maintaining stability at rest for fishing. The hull shape requires precise cover patterning, which is why our cover is cut specifically for the SV platform.
The 2400 SV Bay was designed primarily as a bay boat with a 14-inch draft for skinny water. Its 16-degree deadrise handles moderate chop well on nearshore runs, but it's optimized for protected bays, sounds, and inshore waterways. A quality T-Top cover protects your investment whether you're running inshore creeks or coastal flats.
The 2400 SV Bay is rated for up to 250 HP with a single outboard. Most owners run 200-250 HP engines, which push the boat to cruising speeds of 28-32 knots. Our cover accommodates any single-engine configuration within the factory-rated horsepower range.
The 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric is our value option, offering 5-7 years of durability with excellent UV and water resistance. Sunbrella acrylic is premium—it lasts 8-10 years, resists fading better, and handles extreme weather more reliably. For a boat stored on a lift or trailer in direct sun year-round, Sunbrella is the better long-term investment.
Rinse with fresh water after saltwater boating and let it air-dry completely before stowing. For stubborn algae or mildew, use a soft brush with mild detergent—avoid pressure washers. Both fabric options resist mold naturally, but proper drying is critical in humid coastal climates where the SV Bay series sees heavy use.
Yes. We back our solution-dyed marine fabric with a 5-year coverage warranty and Sunbrella with an 8-year warranty. These cover manufacturing defects and seam failures. Wear from UV exposure, weathering, or improper care is excluded—that's normal aging.
Absolutely. Browse our full Sea Pro lineup—we offer covers for the 1900 SV, 2100 SV, and 2300 SV T-Top models as well. Each cover is tailored to that specific SV hull's dimensions. Visit our Sea Pro brand page or filter by the T-Top category to compare coverage types and pricing across the entire SV family.

Sea Pro 2400 SV Bay T-Top Boat Cover

The Sea Pro 2400 SV Bay is the flagship of Sea Pro’s legendary SV hull platform—a 24-foot bay boat built for serious inshore anglers who demand a soft ride, shallow draft, and room to fish. The SV (Sport Vee) hull uses variable deadrise technology that starts sharp at the bow for cutting through chop and flattens to 16 degrees at the transom for rock-solid stability when you’re drifting oyster bars or staking out a flat. At 8’6″ beam and roughly 2,800 lbs dry, this is a substantial bay boat that handles 250 HP without breaking a sweat. The 75-gallon fuel tank gives you range for all-day tournaments, and the 14-inch draft means you’re fishing skinny water where bigger boats get stuck. Our custom T-Top cover wraps the hull below the hardtop frame, shielding your upholstery, electronics, and gelcoat from the relentless UV exposure that breaks down unprotected boats in coastal climates.

Sea Pro’s SV series earned its reputation the hard way—thousands of hours on the water across the Carolinas, Georgia, and Florida where bay boats live and die by their hulls. The variable deadrise design rides through confused seas in passes and inlets with more comfort than a flat-bottom skiff, then settles into a stable platform the moment you cut the engine. Your investment in this proven hull deserves protection that matches the engineering. Our T-Top cover features reinforced double-stitched seams, hem cord at the rubrail, and adjustable tie-down straps that keep the fabric taut in wind. Choose between 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric (5–7 years of protection) or premium Sunbrella acrylic (8–10 years), both UV-resistant, water-repellent, and mold-resistant. Installation and removal take minutes, and the cover deploys easily with two people.

SV Hull Legacy & Bay Boat Performance

The SV series represents Sea Pro’s heritage bay boat philosophy—maximum fishability without sacrificing ride quality. The 2400 SV Bay sits at the top of this lineage, building on the proven platforms of the 1900 SV, 2100 SV, and 2300 SV before it. The 16-degree transom deadrise strikes the ideal balance for inshore work: enough V to handle afternoon chop in sounds and bays, enough flatness to pole across grass flats without sinking. Standard features include dual livewells, ample rod storage, and a console layout optimized for sight-fishing and tournament work. A quality T-Top cover keeps your hull and cabin mildew-free during off-season storage—critical for bay boat owners in the humid Southeast where growth starts within days of exposure.
