Yes. The cover is pattern-cut specifically for the Sea Pro 262 Sport, with reinforced cutouts that wrap around the hardtop legs while the hardtop stays exposed above. It drapes over the bow seating, console and windshield, leaning post, livewell, fish box, and stern seating.
Installation takes about five minutes. Drape the cover over the 262 Sport from bow to stern, guide the cutouts around the hardtop legs, run the hem cord along the rubrail, and cinch down the adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs. No tools or snaps are required, and on a 26-foot boat a second person makes it quicker.
No — please remove the cover before towing your Sea Pro 262 Sport. Our covers are not designed to be trailered: towing with the cover on can cause severe damage to the cover and voids the warranty. The cover is designed for storage only — on a trailer, boat lift, dry stack, or jet dock — and comes off in minutes at the ramp.
Yes. While your 262 Sport is stored, the cover creates a complete barrier over the helm electronics, leaning post, bow and stern cushions, and deck hatches — blocking UV rays, rain, salt spray, bird droppings, and pollen. Keeping the helm and upholstery covered between trips is one of the easiest ways to protect your investment.
Your Sea Pro 262 Sport cover is backed by our manufacturer's warranty for the original purchaser. Materials and workmanship — stitching, straps, buckles, zippers, and other hardware — are covered for 1 year from the purchase date. Fabric is covered for 3 years on 7oz, 5 years on black or navy 9oz, and 6 years on Sunbrella. Covered defects are repaired or replaced after you contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The warranty does not cover improper use, accident or negligence, unauthorized modifications, improper care, mold or mildew, incorrectly placed orders, theft or loss, or acts of God — and traveling with the cover on or using it in the water voids the warranty. The cover is highly water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. All fabrics carry a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that sheds rain and spray while staying breathable, so moisture doesn't get trapped underneath. That breathability helps keep mildew and condensation off the cushions and deck.
This cover is patterned for the Sea Pro 262 center console with the factory fiberglass hardtop, and the Sport shares its hull and deck with the other 262 trims. If your 262 has a different leaning post, added outriggers, a taller top, or other aftermarket hardware, contact us before ordering so we can confirm fit.

The Sea Pro 262 is the largest center console in Sea Pro’s lineup — about 26 feet long with a 9’4″ beam, a 22.5-degree deadrise at the transom, roughly 4,900 lbs dry before power, about 145 gallons of fuel, and up to 500 HP on the transom. The Sport trim keeps the helm simple with analog controls, a standard leaning post, and functional stern seating, while sharing the same foam-filled, vinyl-ester-barrier-coated hull, fiberglass hardtop with windshield enclosure, and fishing layout as the rest of the 262 line. That’s a lot of boat, electronics, and upholstery sitting in the sun between trips. Like all of our Sea Pro boat covers, this one is patterned to the 262 itself rather than stretched from a generic size chart.

A 26-foot center console has a lot to cover — bow seating with flip-up backrests, in-floor bow storage, a large console with a windshield enclosure, the leaning post, a 30-gallon pressurized livewell, a 190-quart in-floor fish box, a 75-quart stern cooler box, and the stern seating. This cover is pattern-cut to wrap cleanly around the hardtop legs and drape over the full length of the deck, while the hardtop stays exposed above.
