Sportsman 247 Masters Platinum T-Top Boat Cover — Custom-Fit for the Pre-2022 Masters 247 with the Factory Hardtop
The Sportsman Masters 247 was one of the best-selling 24-foot bay boats of the last decade, and the Platinum Package was the way most owners ordered it. Before Sportsman redesigned the 247 for the 2022 model year, it measured 24’4″ with an 8’5″ beam, carried 71 gallons of fuel, ran on a 15-degree deadrise hull that drafts about 14 inches, and weighed roughly 2,750 lbs dry. The standard layout includes a console front seat, a rear bench, a deluxe leaning post with flip-up bolsters, a large bow fishbox and two 25-gallon aft livewells. The Platinum Package added the fiberglass hardtop with LED lighting and a color-matched underside, powder coating, misters, a spray shield, fresh and raw-water washdowns, underwater lights, an 8-speaker Bluetooth stereo, a helm pad and a Porta Potti. This T-Top cover is patterned for that pre-2022 Platinum boat with its fiberglass hardtop, and like all of our Sportsman boat covers, it’s cut to this hull rather than a generic 24-foot chart.
How It Fits the 247 Masters Platinum
The cover runs up to the underside of the fiberglass hardtop and wraps the frame, then drapes over the bow casting deck and fishbox, the console and its front seat, the leaning post, the rear bench and the aft livewells, and continues over the transom to cover the outboard in one smooth piece. The hardtop roof stays exposed, so the LED lighting, misters and any rod holders up top don’t get in the way. Installation takes about five minutes: drape it bow to stern, run the hem cord along the rubrail, and cinch the adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs. It’s made for storage on a trailer, lift, dry stack, or at the dock — take it off before towing, since trailering with the cover on can damage it and voids the warranty.
