The Sportsman 247 OE — Offshore Edition — is a 24-foot-4-inch bay boat with an 8-foot-5-inch beam and a dry weight around 3,874 pounds. Powered by a single outboard up to 350 horsepower with 71 gallons of fuel capacity, this modified-V hull features 15 degrees of deadrise and 14 inches of draft. The OE shares the same proven hull as the standard 247 Masters but trades the elevated bow casting platform for a forward fishbox, coffin box, and bow livewell setup designed for serious offshore fishing. Sportsman’s SportTech no-wood fiberglass construction and 10-year hull warranty mean this hybrid bay-to-offshore platform is built to last.
Our custom-fitted T-top mooring cover wraps the entire 247 OE as one continuous piece of solution-dyed marine fabric. The fabric attaches at the underside edges of the T-top roof frame and hangs down like broad curtain panels — angling toward the bow and past the transom to fully enclose the single outboard engine in a natural, gathered drape. All four T-top support legs disappear inside the fabric, and the cover bottom edge extends well below the chine to the trailer tire line, leaving only a thin strip of V-bottom hull visible.
