7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
The 318 crosses the 30-foot threshold with a 31'10" LOA, 10'2" beam, and a 300-gallon fuel tank — 50% more fuel than the 28-foot models. The 24-degree deadrise cuts through offshore chop while the 10'2" beam provides stability in beam seas. This is a boat designed for 100+ mile offshore runs where weather can change fast and you need the hull to handle it.
The 318's 10'2" beam requires significantly more fabric than the 9'6" models below it. Our pattern accounts for the wider gunwales, broader cockpit, and the increased surface area across every dimension. The tie-down system is also upgraded with wider spacing and heavier-duty hardware to handle the greater wind load surface area.
The fuel tank is housed below deck within the SPI hull structure, so it's inherently protected. However, the cover protects all fuel system hardware on the deck surface — fill plates, vent fittings, fuel management gauge connections, and associated plumbing — from UV degradation and salt corrosion that can cause fuel system failures.
The 318 was EdgeWater's original 30+ foot platform, later succeeded by the 320CC and then the current 325CC. While no longer in production, hundreds of 318s are still actively fished along the East Coast and Gulf. Our cover patterns are maintained for all EdgeWater models regardless of production status — your 318 gets the same custom-fit quality as a current-year model.
At approximately 6,500 lbs dry, the 318 is remarkably light for a 32-foot center console — a direct benefit of EdgeWater's SPI construction. The vacuum-infused one-piece hull achieves greater structural strength with less material than traditional hand-laid fiberglass, resulting in better performance, fuel efficiency, and easier handling despite the boat's substantial size.
Larger boats catch more wind, rain, and salt spray — so cover maintenance scales with boat size. Rinse with fresh water every two weeks minimum in saltwater. Check tie-down tension monthly, as larger covers experience more thermal expansion and wind flex. Inspect stitching at stress points — rubrail hem, T-Top attachment areas, and engine wrap — twice per season.
No boat cover is designed for hurricane conditions. During tropical storm or hurricane warnings, remove the cover and follow your marina's storm preparation protocol. Between storms, the cover handles sustained winds up to 50+ mph when properly secured with all tie-down points engaged.
Yes — the steeper deadrise means the hull sides have more vertical surface area below the rubrail compared to shallower-V hulls. Our pattern accounts for this geometry, ensuring the cover extends properly below the chine and the hem cord seats correctly at the rubrail despite the sharper hull angle.
We maintain patterns for all EdgeWater models regardless of production status. Order through our website just like any current model — select EdgeWater, then the 318, choose your fabric and color options. The pattern is already in our system and the cover ships within our standard production timeline.
The 320 added approximately 1,200 lbs of dry weight for additional structural reinforcement, upgraded standard features, and a refined deck layout. Both share the same 31'10" LOA and 10'2" beam dimensions, but the 320 supports up to 700 HP and incorporates refinements based on years of 318 owner feedback.
EdgeWater 318 T-Top Boat Cover
The EdgeWater 318 is the boat that put EdgeWater into the bluewater center console conversation — a 31’10” platform with a 10’2” beam, 24-degree deadrise, and a 300-gallon fuel tank that turns full-day canyon runs into a comfortable reality. Built with the same SPI vacuum-infusion process that defines every EdgeWater hull, the 318 delivers one-piece, foam-filled, unsinkable construction at a remarkably light 6,500 lbs dry weight. Twin outboards up to 600 HP push the deep-V hull through offshore chop with the confidence that comes from a purpose-built bluewater platform.
A Perfect Fit T-Top cover protects the 318’s expansive deck — tournament-grade livewells, oversized fish boxes, rigging stations, helm electronics, and both outboard engines — in UV-resistant solution-dyed marine fabric. Our pattern is specifically engineered for the 318’s 10’2” beam and 32-foot length, with reinforced tie-downs sized for the wind loads that a boat this size encounters at open-water docks and marina slips.
Bluewater Platform, Year-Round Protection
The 318 was designed to run offshore when smaller boats stay at the dock — and it deserves protection that matches its capability. Our T-Top cover shields every surface from the UV and salt exposure that ages gel coat, degrades wiring, and shortens the life of expensive electronics. The dual-engine wrap protects both outboard cowlings while the hardtop remains exposed for ventilation and electronics clearance.
