The 239 FS and 246 Bay Reef are similar in overall length, but the hulls are fundamentally different. The 239 FS has a deeper-V hull with a stepped bottom designed for offshore performance, while the 246 Bay Reef uses a flatter bay boat profile for shallow water. The Key West 239 FS is a 23-foot-9-inch Family Sportsman center console — the largest and most capable boat in Key West’s FS lineup. With an 8-foot-6-inch beam and a dry weight around 2,700 pounds, this current-production model features a modified-V hull with approximately 19 degrees of deadrise, an innovative stepped hull design, a single outboard between 200 and 300 horsepower, and a 100-gallon fuel tank that delivers all-day offshore range.
