Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Cast & Blast 22 Kings Bay T-Top cover is available in three fabric options: 9oz solution-dyed polyester for heavy-duty everyday protection, a lighter 7oz option for budget-friendly coverage, and premium Sunbrella acrylic for maximum UV resistance and longevity. All fabrics are solution-dyed, meaning the color is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface — so the cover won't fade, bleed, or transfer dye onto your Kings Bay's aluminum hull or powder coat finish.
Yes. The Kings Bay T-Top cover is pattern-cut with reinforced cutouts that wrap cleanly around the T-Top legs, allowing the cover to drape over the entire hull — console, leaning post, rod holders, and cockpit — while the hardtop remains exposed above. The cutouts are reinforced with double-stitched seams to prevent fraying or tearing around the T-Top contact points.
Installation takes under five minutes and can be done solo. Drape the cover over the Kings Bay's hull, thread the hem cord along the rubrail for a snug baseline fit, and secure everything with the adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs. No tools required — just unfold, drape, strap, and go.
Absolutely. The Kings Bay T-Top cover is reinforced for trailering at highway speeds. The hem cord locks along the rubrail and the adjustable tie-down straps prevent any flapping or shifting during transit. With the Kings Bay's ultra-shallow 10-inch draft, you can launch and retrieve at virtually any ramp without removing the cover until you're ready to fish.
Yes. The cover creates a complete barrier over the Kings Bay's cockpit — shielding your console-mounted electronics, GPS, fish finder, leaning post cushions, and all upholstery from UV rays, rain, salt spray, bird droppings, and airborne debris. The breathable fabric allows trapped moisture to vent naturally, reducing the risk of mildew forming underneath — especially important in humid Lowcountry conditions.
Every Cast & Blast 22 Kings Bay T-Top cover ships with a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The fabric itself carries additional protection: the 9oz solution-dyed polyester is rated for 5–7 years of UV and weather performance, while the Sunbrella acrylic option is rated for 8–10 years.
The cover is water-resistant with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish that causes rain and spray to bead up and roll off. It's intentionally breathable rather than fully waterproof — this allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, which is critical for preventing mildew on your Kings Bay's upholstery and preventing moisture from sitting against the aluminum hull and powder coat finish.
Yes. This cover is designed to fit the Cast & Blast 22 Kings Bay across its standard production run with the factory T-Top configuration. Cast & Blast has built the Kings Bay on the same hull platform since its introduction. If your boat has significant aftermarket modifications that alter the hull profile, contact us to confirm fitment.
The 9oz solution-dyed polyester is available in Navy, Black, and Charcoal — the three most popular colors for T-Top covers. The premium Sunbrella acrylic option expands the palette with additional color choices. All colors are solution-dyed for long-term fade resistance, even under constant coastal sun exposure.
Shipping is a $30 flat rate per cover to anywhere in the continental United States. Orders typically ship within 1–2 business days, so your Kings Bay cover arrives quickly and ready to install.

Cast & Blast 22 Kings Bay T-Top Boat Cover — Skinny-Water Tough Meets Custom-Fit Protection

The Cast & Blast 22 Kings Bay is built for anglers and hunters who need a boat that can take a beating and keep running — a 22-foot all-welded aluminum center console with an 8’6″ beam, quad-welded 1/8″ marine-grade aluminum hull, six longitudinal stringers, and a dry weight around 2,000 lbs that drafts barely 10 inches of water. Built by Brooks Oswald and the team in Walterboro, South Carolina since 2013, every Kings Bay hull is welded from 5086 marine-grade aluminum and finished with a 2-part polyurethane spray coat — a construction method that laughs at oyster bars, dock pilings, and the kind of abuse that would crack a fiberglass hull. That level of durability deserves equally tough protection between trips, and a Cast & Blast boat cover from Perfect Fit is pattern-cut specifically for the Kings Bay’s hull dimensions to shield your console, electronics, leaning post, and cockpit from UV, salt spray, rain, and the elements.

Tailored to the Kings Bay’s Inshore Fishing Layout

The 22 Kings Bay packs serious capability into a shallow-draft platform — a center console with windshield and T-Top frame, aluminum leaning post with rod holders, a 57-gallon fuel tank for all-day range, insulated fish box, aerated livewell, self-bailing deck, and a poling platform for sight-fishing the flats. This cover is pattern-cut with reinforced cutouts that wrap cleanly around the T-Top legs, draping over the console, leaning post, and cockpit while leaving the hardtop exposed above. Installation takes under five minutes solo — drape the cover over the hull, thread the hem cord along the rubrail, and secure with adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs. It’s reinforced for trailering at highway speeds, and with the Kings Bay’s ultra-shallow 10-inch draft, you can launch and load at virtually any ramp in the Lowcountry without worrying about the cover shifting. For a similar-sized offshore platform from another builder, take a look at the Mako 22 T-Top cover for the same custom-fit precision.

Protection Built for Aluminum and Salt

Cast & Blast builds the Kings Bay to survive decades of hard use in salt marshes, tidal creeks, and open bays — your cover should hold up just as long. Choose from 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric for heavy-duty everyday protection with a 5–7 year lifespan, or upgrade to premium Sunbrella acrylic for 8–10 years of fade-resistant, breathable coverage. Both options are water-repellent with a DWR finish that beads water on contact, mildew-resistant, and built with double-stitched seams that hold up season after season in Charleston humidity and Lowcountry salt air. Every cover ships with a 2-year manufacturer warranty and arrives ready to install. For another tough inshore rig that gets the same custom-fit treatment, check out the Dusky 233 T-Top cover.
