7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
The 265 EX is the express (walkaround) version of the 265 hull — it shares the same 26'6" length, 9'6" beam, and SPI construction, but adds a full cabin with galley, head, sleeping accommodations, and an integrated swim platform. The EX is 400 lbs heavier than the CC and uses twin 225 HP outboards (450 HP total) instead of the CC's 500 HP max.
The 265 EX's cabin creates a raised deck forward of the helm station, with a walkaround configuration and cabin entry. Our cover pattern accounts for this elevated cabin structure, the cabin hatch, and the walkaround gunwales — draping smoothly over the cabin roof and cockpit without binding or gaps around the entry.
The integrated swim platform at the stern is within the cover's footprint. The cover extends to the transom area, protecting the swim platform surface, ladder hardware, and any platform-mounted accessories from UV and salt exposure.
The T-Top cover provides an additional layer of weather protection over the cabin hatch area, reducing direct rain and UV exposure to the cabin entry seal. However, the cabin's own hatch and porthole seals are the primary weather barrier — the cover supplements but doesn't replace them.
The 265 EX is a larger, more capable platform — 26'6" vs 24'6", with a 9'6" beam vs 8'6", dual engines vs single, and a full cabin vs dual-console layout. The EX is designed for overnight trips with galley and sleeping accommodations, while the CX is a day-boat crossover.
No. The 265 EX's walkaround design features gunwale walkways that run from cockpit to bow around the cabin. Our cover pattern follows these gunwale contours precisely, maintaining a clean fit along the walkaround path without excess fabric or exposed gaps.
Yes — that's exactly what it's designed for. The cabin provides sleeping accommodations for two, a galley for meals, and a full head. The 200-gallon fuel capacity supports extended range, and the 28-gallon livewell keeps bait alive for multi-day trips. Our cover protects all these features between extended outings.
Yes. Shore power connections are typically at the stern or through-hull, and the cover can be positioned to allow cable routing. For extended marina stays with shore power, the cover provides excellent UV and weather protection while keeping the electrical system accessible.
At ~5,400 lbs dry plus fuel (200 gallons = ~1,400 lbs) and gear, the 265 EX needs a dock lift rated for 8,000+ lbs. The cover adds negligible weight (20–25 lbs) and doesn't affect lift capacity requirements.
Our T-Top cover protects all exterior surfaces including cockpit, helm, and exterior cabin surfaces. For interior cabin cushions, the cabin's own enclosure provides protection. We don't currently offer separate interior cabin cushion covers.
EdgeWater 265 EX T-Top Boat Cover
The EdgeWater 265 EX is the express version of the 265 platform — a 26’6″ walkaround with a full cabin, galley, head, and sleeping accommodations built on the same SPI hull that defines every EdgeWater. The EX bridges the gap between center console and cruiser: twin 225 HP outboards, a 200-gallon fuel tank, 28-gallon livewell, and the fishing hardware serious anglers expect, combined with the overnight capability and comfort features that extend your range from day trips to multi-day adventures. At ~5,400 lbs dry with a 9’6″ beam, the 265 EX is a substantial boat that demands comprehensive protection.
A Perfect Fit custom T-Top cover is engineered specifically for the 265 EX’s unique walkaround layout — wrapping the cabin structure, walkaround gunwales, cockpit, helm station, swim platform, and dual outboard engines in UV-resistant solution-dyed marine fabric. The pattern accounts for the EX’s raised cabin deck, hatch entry, and express-specific transom geometry, delivering a custom fit that protects every exterior surface between trips.
Express Capability, Complete Coverage
The 265 EX’s walkaround design creates a complex exterior profile that generic covers can’t handle. The raised cabin, walkaround gunwales, helm station, and cockpit each require precise patterning to ensure complete coverage without bunching, gaps, or binding. Our cover follows the EX’s unique contours from bow to swim platform, protecting the cabin roof from UV damage, the walkaround surfaces from salt accumulation, and the cockpit fishing hardware from weather exposure.
