Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Everglades 240 is 24'7" LOA with a 9'3" beam and 21-degree transom deadrise. Our custom T-Top cover wraps the hull below the hardtop frame and is patterned specifically for the 240's wide-beam hull contours and twin-engine transom layout. We verify your T-Top dimensions before production to ensure a precise fit.
Yes. The 240 was designed from the factory as a twin-engine platform, typically running twin 150 HP outboards for 300 HP total. The twin-engine transom gives you redundancy offshore and improved handling at displacement speeds. Our T-Top cover is cut to accommodate the twin-engine configuration and fits around both motors cleanly.
The 240 carries 163 gallons of fuel — an exceptionally large tank for a 24-foot boat. Combined with efficient twin four-stroke outboards cruising at 33-34 mph, you get serious offshore range. That range capability means more time on the water, and our cover protects your investment between those long-distance trips.
The 240 is loaded with fishing equipment: a 129-gallon front fish box, 50-gallon rear fish box, rod storage for 22 rods, a bait rigging station with freshwater faucet, and a starboard transom gate for landing big fish. Our T-Top cover protects all of this equipment from UV degradation and salt corrosion when you're not fishing.
Yes. The 240's center console houses a porcelain marine head with standing room — a feature that makes this boat family-friendly for all-day trips. Our cover wraps everything below the hardtop, including the console area, protecting the console's tempered glass windshield and sliding front panel from weather exposure.
RAMCAP construction creates a hull with extremely consistent dimensions — no warping, no flexing, no settling over time. This means a cover patterned to the 240's exact specifications will maintain its fit for the life of the cover. The closed-cell foam core between hull and liner also eliminates the soft spots and irregularities found in conventional fiberglass boats.
Yes. At 4,000 lbs dry weight with a 9'3" beam, the 240 is a serious tow but well within the capability of a full-size truck. Our cover's reinforced hem cord and adjustable tie-down straps keep the fabric secure at highway speeds. Just ensure all straps are cinched tight and there's no loose fabric that could catch wind.
The 240 is a classic twin-engine 24-footer with a 9'3" beam, 163-gallon fuel tank, and 21-degree deadrise — built for serious offshore range. The 243 is a current-production Hybrid 3-Series model with an 8'2" beam, single engine up to 300 HP, and 82 gallons of fuel — designed more for versatile inshore-to-nearshore use. We carry custom covers for both models.
Plan for 12-15 minutes solo on the 240. The 9'3" beam is wider than most 24-footers, so there's more fabric to manage. With a second person, installation drops to 6-8 minutes. Our tie-down system with hem cord and adjustable straps is designed for efficient deployment by one or two people.
We cover every Everglades model ever built — from the classic 210 and 211 through the current 243 CC, 253 CC, and all the way up to the flagship 355. Every cover is custom-fitted to that specific model's hull shape, beam, and T-Top frame geometry. Browse our Everglades brand page to see the full lineup.

Everglades 240 T-Top Boat Cover

The Everglades 240 is a twin-engine 24-footer that punches well above its class — a 9’3″ beam, 163 gallons of fuel, 21-degree deadrise, and a hull built in Edgewater, Florida using the patented RAMCAP construction process that bonds closed-cell foam between hull and liner into a single unsinkable structure. At 4,000 lbs dry weight with twin 150 HP outboards delivering 46+ mph at wide-open throttle and efficient 34 mph cruising, the 240 was built for serious offshore range and all-day fishing. The 129-gallon front fish box, 50-gallon rear fish box, rod storage for 22 rods, porcelain marine head, and tempered glass windshield with sliding front panel make this a complete fishing platform that doubles as a capable family cruiser. Our custom T-Top cover wraps the hull below the hardtop frame, protecting your fish boxes, helm electronics, bait station, rod holders, and all deck hardware from UV degradation and salt corrosion.

What makes the 240 special in the Everglades lineup is its combination of twin-engine reliability and offshore fuel range in a trailerable package. The 163-gallon fuel tank paired with efficient twin four-strokes delivers cruising range that approaches 30-foot boats, while the 21-degree deadrise cuts through open-water chop with confidence. RAMCAP construction ensures zero wood anywhere in the hull — just foam-bonded fiberglass that carries a lifetime hull warranty. Our T-Top cover features reinforced double-stitched seams, a hem cord at the rubrail, and adjustable tie-down straps engineered for the 240’s wide 9’3″ beam. Choose between 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric (5–7 years of protection) or premium Sunbrella acrylic (8–10 years), both UV-resistant, water-repellent, and mold-resistant.

Twin-Engine Offshore Capability

The Everglades 240 was designed from the keel up as a twin-engine platform — not a single-engine hull with a second motor bolted on as an afterthought. The transom, stringers, and hull geometry are all engineered for balanced twin-outboard performance, which translates to better handling, faster hole shots, and the safety redundancy that offshore anglers demand. The 22-rod storage capacity, dedicated bait rigging station with freshwater faucet, and starboard transom gate for landing gamefish make the 240 a purpose-built fishing machine. When your boat sits uncovered between trips, UV radiation fades gelcoat, cracks rubber seals, and deteriorates wiring insulation — a quality T-Top cover prevents that degradation trip after trip. For additional weather protection options, check out our center console curtain enclosures.
