Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Everglades 270 is 29'3" LOA with a 9'9" beam and a deep-V hull with 21-degree transom deadrise. Our custom T-Top cover wraps the hull below the hardtop frame and is patterned specifically for the 270's hull contours, wrap-around windshield, and twin-engine transom layout. We verify your T-Top dimensions before production to ensure a precise fit.
The 270 is a classic Everglades model produced from 2008 to 2011 — it later evolved into the Everglades 275. Thousands of 270s remain on the water, and RAMCAP construction means these hulls are built to last decades. Our cover is custom-patterned to the 270's exact hull dimensions, protecting your classic Everglades investment.
The 270 carries 200 gallons of fuel — serious offshore range for a 29-foot platform. Combined with efficient twin four-stroke outboards, you get the cruising range to reach blue-water fishing grounds with confidence. Our T-Top cover keeps your helm electronics, rod holders, and deck hardware protected between those offshore runs.
The 270 was built as a dedicated offshore fishing platform: 64-gallon livewell, extensive rod storage, wrap-around windshield for rough-weather protection, fold-down transom seat, and multiple rod holders positioned for trolling and bottom fishing. Our T-Top cover protects all of this equipment from UV degradation and salt corrosion when you're between trips.
The 270 is a classic model (2008-2011) with a 29'3" LOA, 9'9" beam, and twin-engine configuration up to 500 HP. The 273 is a current-production Hybrid 3-Series model at 27'3" LOA, 9'3" beam, and can run a single 425 HP or twin 200-250 HP engines with 20-degree deadrise. We carry custom covers for both — browse both on our Everglades brand page.
RAMCAP is Everglades' patented process that bonds closed-cell foam between hull and liner into a single unsinkable structure with zero wood. For the 270, this means a hull that maintains its exact factory dimensions decades after it was built — no warping, flexing, or delamination. A cover patterned to the 270's RAMCAP hull maintains its fit because the hull never changes shape.
The 270 at 6,000 lbs dry weight with a 9'9" beam is a significant tow requiring a heavy-duty trailer and a capable truck. Our cover's reinforced hem cord and adjustable tie-down straps keep the fabric secure at highway speeds. Many 270 owners keep their boats in wet slips or on lifts, and our cover provides protection in either storage scenario.
The 270 is powered by twin outboards with up to 500 HP total. Common setups include twin 200 HP or twin 250 HP Yamaha four-strokes. The twin-engine layout provides offshore redundancy and balanced performance on the 270's deep-V hull. Our cover is cut to accommodate the twin-engine transom and fits cleanly around both motors.
Plan for 18-20 minutes solo on the 270. At 29'3" LOA with a 9'9" beam, there's substantial fabric to position around the hull, windshield, and T-Top frame. With a second person, installation drops to 10-12 minutes. Our tie-down system with hem cord and adjustable straps is designed for efficient deployment.
We cover every Everglades model ever built — from the classic 210 through the current 243 CC, 253 CC, 273 CC, and up to the flagship 355. Every cover is custom-fitted to that specific model's hull shape, beam, and T-Top frame geometry. Browse our Everglades brand page to see the full lineup.

Everglades 270 T-Top Boat Cover

The Everglades 270 is a classic offshore center console that defined what a 29-foot fishing platform could be — a 9’9” beam, 200 gallons of fuel, deep-V hull with 21-degree transom deadrise, and RAMCAP construction that bonds closed-cell foam between hull and liner into a single unsinkable structure. Built in Edgewater, Florida from 2008 to 2011, the 270 weighs approximately 6,000 lbs dry and runs twin outboards up to 500 HP total, delivering confident offshore performance in serious conditions. The 64-gallon livewell, extensive rod storage, wrap-around windshield, and fold-down transom seat made this a favorite among blue-water anglers who needed a boat that could handle the Gulf Stream and bring fish home. Our custom T-Top cover wraps the hull below the hardtop frame, protecting your livewell, helm electronics, windshield, rod holders, and all deck hardware from UV degradation and salt corrosion.

What makes the 270 notable in the Everglades legacy is its role as the predecessor to the popular 275 — the same wide-beam, deep-V platform that Everglades refined and continued offering for years afterward. RAMCAP construction ensures zero wood anywhere in the hull, which means a 270 built in 2008 still has the same structural integrity today as the day it left the factory. Our T-Top cover features reinforced double-stitched seams, a hem cord at the rubrail, and adjustable tie-down straps engineered for the 270’s wide 9’9” beam and 29’3” length. Choose between 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric (5–7 years of protection) or premium Sunbrella acrylic (8–10 years), both UV-resistant, water-repellent, and mold-resistant.

Blue-Water Offshore Heritage

The Everglades 270 was engineered from the keel up as an offshore fishing machine with the fuel range and hull construction to match. The 200-gallon fuel capacity paired with twin four-stroke outboards provides the range to reach distant fishing grounds, while the deep-V hull with 21-degree deadrise cuts through open-ocean swells with the confidence that RAMCAP construction demands. The 64-gallon livewell keeps your bait alive all day, and the wrap-around windshield protects the helm station from spray at cruising speed. When your boat sits uncovered between trips, UV radiation fades gelcoat, cracks rubber seals, and degrades wiring — a quality T-Top cover prevents that damage season after season. For additional weather protection options, check out our center console curtain enclosures.
