Freeman 38 T-Top Boat Cover — Custom-Fit for the Freeman 38 Quad-Outboard Catamaran
The Freeman 38 is a big offshore center console catamaran from Freeman Boatworks, with listings from the 2024 model year onward. It measures about 37’2″ to 37’8″ overall with an 11’6″ beam and a draft of under 2′, and it is built to run quad outboards — the listings we found are rigged with four Mercury 300s. Fuel capacity is 560 gallons on the current build (one 2024 boat lists 600), with 40 gallons of fresh water; one 2024 listing gives a dry weight of 12,500 lb. A current build sheet lists the 38 Freeman XL T-top on a powder-coated frame with a glass windshield and outrigger bases, a console head, 70-gallon livewells, a cushioned coffin box with backrest and armrests, and coaming bolsters around the cockpit. This T-Top cover is patterned for the Freeman 38 with its T-top, and like all of our Freeman boat covers, it’s cut to this twin-hull boat rather than a generic 38-foot size chart.
How It Fits the Freeman 38
The cover runs up to the underside of the T-top and wraps around the frame legs, then drapes forward over the console, windshield and coffin box to the cat’s wide bow, and aft over the leaning post and livewells to the transom. It continues over the quad outboards as one piece, so the whole rig — including the bank of four engines — is covered. The T-top roof stays exposed. The outriggers and their bases stay on top of the hardtop, outside the cover. On a boat this size, installing is easiest with two people: drape it bow to stern, run the hem cord along the rubrail, and cinch the adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs. It’s made for storage on a trailer, lift, dry stack, or at the dock — take it off before towing, since trailering with the cover on can damage it and voids the warranty.

Both options are water-repellent, breathable, mildew-resistant, and double-stitched at the seams. Each cover is backed by our warranty (1 year on materials and workmanship, plus 3 years on 7oz and 5 years on 9oz fabric) and ships for a $30 flat rate within the US — every cover is made to order, so please allow 1–3 weeks.
