7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
The standard cover for the Ken Craft 2460 is crafted from 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric — a tightly woven polyester that resists UV fading, mildew, and water penetration for 5 to 7 years of reliable protection. We also offer a premium Sunbrella acrylic option rated for 8 to 10 years. Both fabrics are breathable to prevent moisture and mildew buildup underneath the cover.
Yes. The cover is pattern-cut specifically for the Ken Craft 2460 hull and T-Top frame. It wraps the hull below the hardtop with reinforced cutouts that fit snugly around the T-Top support legs. The hardtop roof remains exposed on top while everything below — console, leaning post, rod holders, and seating — is fully enclosed.
Installation takes one person under five minutes. Simply drape the cover over the hull beneath the T-Top hardtop, align the reinforced cutouts with the T-Top support legs, and secure the adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs along the rubrail. No tools or additional hardware required.
No — please remove the cover before towing your Ken Craft 2460. Our covers are not designed to be trailered: towing with the cover on can cause severe damage to the cover and voids the warranty. The cover is designed for storage only — on a trailer, boat lift, dry stack, or jet dock — and comes off in minutes at the ramp.
Yes. The cover creates a complete barrier over the entire cockpit, shielding your helm electronics, GPS, fishfinder, VHF radio, digital steering components, seat cushions, and leaning post upholstery from UV rays, rain, salt spray, bird droppings, and airborne debris. The breathable fabric prevents condensation buildup that can damage sensitive electronics.
Your Ken Craft 2460 cover is backed by our manufacturer's warranty for the original purchaser. Materials and workmanship — stitching, straps, buckles, zippers, and other hardware — are covered for 1 year from the purchase date. Fabric is covered for 3 years on 7oz, 5 years on black or navy 9oz, and 6 years on Sunbrella. Covered defects are repaired or replaced after you contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The warranty does not cover improper use, accident or negligence, unauthorized modifications, improper care, mold or mildew, incorrectly placed orders, theft or loss, or acts of God — and traveling with the cover on or using it in the water voids the warranty. See our Warranty page for full details.
The cover is water-resistant with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish that causes rain and spray to bead up and roll off. It is intentionally breathable rather than fully waterproof — this allows trapped moisture and humidity to escape, preventing mildew growth and condensation that can damage your 2460's interior.
Yes. The 2460 is the flagship of Ken Craft's Skiff Series at 24 feet LOA. Despite being the largest model, it maintains the same 10-inch draft as the smaller 2060 and 2260 skiffs, giving you maximum deck space without sacrificing shallow-water access. Digital steering is available on this model for enhanced helm precision.
The Ken Craft 2460 cover is available in 9oz solution-dyed polyester in Navy or Black, 7oz polyester in Black, or premium Sunbrella acrylic in Marine Blue, Black, or Smoke. Choose your fabric and color in the order options above.

Ken Craft 2460 T-Top Boat Cover — Flagship Skiff Protection from North Carolina’s Shallow-Water Experts
The Ken Craft 2460 is the largest flat-bottom skiff in Ken Craft’s lineup — a 24-foot shallow-water platform built in Wilson, North Carolina by a family-owned company that has been perfecting inshore fishing boats since 1975. At 24′ LOA with an 8’4″ beam, a dry weight of 2,750 lbs, and a 35-gallon fuel tank powering up to 250 horsepower, the 2460 is the flagship of Ken Craft’s Skiff Series. Despite being the biggest boat in the lineup, it still drafts just 10 inches of water — the same ultra-shallow figure as the smaller 2060 and 2260. That means 24 feet of deck space with access to the same skinny backwater marshes, oyster bars, and tidal flats that made Ken Craft’s reputation. The “No Wood, No Rot” all-composite construction uses fiberglass throughout with zero wood components, and digital steering is available on this model for precise helm control. Our custom-fitted T-Top cover for the 2460 is pattern-cut to match the hull’s exact dimensions, protecting the helm console, leaning post, rod holders, and all interior surfaces from UV damage, salt spray, rain, and debris. Designed for the 2460’s Full-Size Skiff Platform
This cover wraps beneath the T-Top hardtop and drapes to the rubrail on all sides, with reinforced cutouts engineered to fit precisely around the T-Top support legs. The 2460’s expansive forward casting deck, center console with integrated livewell, and spacious aft fishing station are all enclosed beneath a taut, fitted canopy secured by adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs. At 24 feet, the 2460 gives you the most deck space of any Ken Craft skiff while maintaining the 10-inch draft that defines the Skiff Series — and the cover accounts for every square foot of that interior. One person can install it in under five minutes with no tools required. The flat-bottom hull is built for trailering, and the fully reinforced cover keeps your flagship skiff protected while it’s parked. Remove the cover before towing — it’s designed for storage, not travel. For a compact inshore platform from a different builder, take a look at the Hightide 14 Super V center console cover — a Georgetown, SC micro-skiff built for the shallowest water imaginable.
Premium Fabric for Ken Craft’s Biggest Skiff
Ken Craft’s 53,000-square-foot Wilson, North Carolina facility has been producing rot-proof composite hulls for nearly five decades, and the 2460 represents the pinnacle of their Skiff Series engineering — the most deck space, the most horsepower, and the option for digital steering, all wrapped in the same “No Wood, No Rot” construction that defines the brand. Our 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric delivers 5 to 7 years of UV and weather resistance with water-repellent, mildew-resistant performance and double-stitched seams throughout. For maximum longevity, our premium Sunbrella acrylic option extends service life to 8 to 10 years with the same breathable, solution-dyed construction that prevents moisture buildup underneath. Every cover ships with our warranty (1 year on materials and workmanship, plus 3–6 years on the fabric). The 2460 is the kind of skiff that handles everything from dawn redfish runs to afternoon family cruises — this cover makes sure the cockpit, cushions, and electronics stay protected between every trip.
