Key West 186 Center Console Boat Cover (Discontinued Model)
The Key West 186 is an 18-foot-10-inch deep-V center console that packed serious fishing capability into a trailerable package. With 19 degrees of deadrise and an 8-foot beam, this hull handled chop well for its size while keeping the dry weight around 1,700 pounds. A single outboard between 115 and 150 horsepower pushed the 186 through coastal waters with confidence, and a 40-gallon fuel tank gave it respectable range for a sub-19-foot boat. Key West built the 186 from 2004 through 2013 and redesigned the hull in 2008 with a rounded keel and steeper transom angle — improvements that earned loyal followings on both versions. These discontinued hulls are still common on the used market.
