7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
The 293's cover is heavier than those for smaller boats due to the larger fabric surface area. Expect approximately 50–60 pounds of fabric. We recommend having a helper for the first few installations. Once you're familiar with the draping pattern, deployment takes about 20–25 minutes. The cover's weight is distributed across the T-Top frame and tie-down points, so no single point bears excessive load.
Yes. The cover terminates at the transom area forward of both outboard engines. Your twin motors remain fully exposed and accessible for maintenance, flushing, and winterizing. The aft edge is pattern-cut to fit the 293's wide transom and dual motor setup cleanly without interfering with engine access, controls, or fuel connections.
The solution-dyed marine fabric is specifically engineered for harsh salt-water environments. The color is embedded in the fiber during manufacturing, so it resists fading even under constant salt air exposure. The fabric also resists mildew and allows air circulation underneath to prevent moisture buildup. For boats stored in coastal marina environments, this level of salt resistance is essential for long-term cover performance.
The large fuel system is entirely below-deck and doesn't affect cover fit. However, the fuel fill access points on deck are protected under the cover, which prevents salt corrosion around fuel fittings and keeps the fill area clean between outings. This is especially important for boats with larger fuel systems where fitting replacement costs are higher.
If your 293 has the factory original T-Top frame, the cover fits perfectly. For aftermarket T-Tops, radar arches, or other structural modifications, contact our engineering team with photos and measurements. We can custom-engineer a cover to match your specific configuration, ensuring proper fit around modified hardware.
The cover includes integrated tie-down loops at stress points around the perimeter. You'll need to provide stainless steel carabiners, cleat brackets, or marine-grade dock line to secure these loops to your dock cleats, boat lift frame, or mooring hardware. We recommend 316 stainless steel hardware to prevent rust staining on the fabric and boat surfaces.
While the 293's composite hull construction resists rot, the gelcoat finish, hardware, electronics, upholstery, and cabin trim are still vulnerable to UV degradation, salt corrosion, and weather damage. A fitted cover protects all these exposed surfaces, preserving the boat's overall condition and resale value regardless of hull material.
Yes. The cover is ideal for winter storage. It protects your 293 from snow, ice, rain, and freeze-thaw cycles that accelerate gelcoat damage and hardware corrosion. In heavy snow areas, periodically brush off accumulation to prevent excessive weight on the tie-down system. The breathable fabric prevents moisture trapping that can lead to mold growth during extended winter storage.
Custom covers for the 293 are fabricated to order with a typical lead time of 2–3 weeks. During peak spring and summer season, lead times may extend to 4 weeks. Rush fabrication is available for an additional fee. Contact our sales team to discuss your timeline and current availability.
The 293 is one of the largest standalone Key West center consoles. Its 29'3" length and 8'10" beam require a substantially larger cover than models in the 20–25 foot range. Each cover is custom-cut to exact hull dimensions, so there's no risk of ordering the wrong size. If you're comparing the 293 to other large Key West models, our sales team can help you identify the correct cover for your specific boat.
Key West 293 T-Top Boat Cover – Custom Protection for Your Flagship Offshore Center Console
Protecting Key West’s Largest Standalone Center Console
The Key West 293 is the flagship of the standalone center console lineup—a 29’3” offshore platform powered by twin outboards rated up to 600 HP, with a massive 240-gallon fuel capacity for serious blue-water range. The 293’s no-wood/no-rot hull construction and self-bailing cockpit make it built to last, but the electronics, upholstery, hardware, and gelcoat above the waterline still need dedicated protection from the elements. Our custom T-Top cover is precision-engineered to the 293’s exact hull geometry, providing comprehensive coverage for the entire cabin and deck area below the hardtop—the zones that take the most punishment from UV, salt, and weather during dock storage.
T-Top Cover Design for the 293’s Expansive Deck
The T-Top cover wraps the 293’s large cabin and deck area below your hardtop frame, leaving the hardtop fully exposed. Precision-cut openings at each T-Top leg allow the frame to pass through without restriction. On a boat this size, the protected area is substantial—your helm console with multifunction displays, radar, GPS, VHF radio, all seating and leaning post surfaces, livewells, fishbox lids, rod holders, and the entire cockpit sole are covered. UV radiation and salt spray are the primary drivers of gelcoat oxidation, electronics failure, and upholstery degradation on boats stored in coastal environments. A fitted cover dramatically slows this deterioration and keeps your 293 looking and performing like it should.
Premium Fabric for Demanding Offshore Environments
For the 293’s large hull, we use heavy-gauge solution-dyed marine fabric to handle the increased surface area and wind load. The fabric has color embedded directly into the fiber during manufacturing, providing fade resistance that surface-dyed materials cannot match. It’s mildew-treated, breathable for air circulation, and reinforced at every stress point—T-Top leg cutouts, tie-down loops, and hull transition areas. All seams are double-stitched and sealed. This construction delivers 5–7 years of reliable protection even in the most demanding salt-water marina environments.
Installation and Color Selection
Given the 293’s size, we recommend two people for installation, which takes about 20–25 minutes. Drape the cover from center over the T-Top frame, work toward bow and stern, and secure the heavy-duty tie-down loops with stainless steel carabiners. Three premium fade-resistant colors are available: Navy Blue, Black, and Charcoal Gray.
