Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Mako 184 T-Top cover is available in 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric, which provides 5 to 7 years of UV and weather protection. You can also choose 7oz marine fabric for a lighter-weight option or upgrade to premium Sunbrella acrylic for 8 to 10 years of durability. All fabrics are water-repellent, mildew-resistant, and breathable to prevent trapped moisture under the cover.
Yes. The Mako 184 cover is pattern-cut with reinforced cutouts that wrap around each T-Top frame leg. The cover drapes beneath the hardtop and over the hull, protecting the console, leaning post, seating, and gunwales while leaving the T-Top roof exposed for ventilation and structural clearance.
Installation takes one person under five minutes. Drape the cover over the bow, pull it aft beneath the T-Top, and secure it using the adjustable tie-down straps and buckles along each side. A hem cord at the rubrail locks the cover in place. No tools, snaps, or additional hardware are needed.
Yes. The Mako 184 cover is reinforced at all major stress points and designed for highway-speed trailering. The adjustable strap-and-buckle system and hem cord keep the cover locked tight during towing, so you can go straight from the ramp to the highway without removing it.
Absolutely. The cover creates a complete barrier over the helm station, console-mounted electronics, GPS units, fishfinders, and all interior upholstery. It blocks UV rays, rain, salt spray, bird droppings, and airborne debris — whether your Mako 184 is docked, on a lift, or in storage.
Every Mako 184 cover includes a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The 9oz solution-dyed fabric is rated for 5 to 7 years of outdoor use, while Sunbrella acrylic is rated for 8 to 10 years, giving you long-term protection well beyond the warranty period.
The cover is water-resistant with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish that causes rain and spray to bead and roll off the surface. It is intentionally breathable rather than fully waterproof, which prevents moisture and mildew from building up underneath — a critical feature in humid saltwater environments.
Yes. This cover is designed to fit all Mako 184 CC models with a factory-installed T-Top across standard production years. The custom-fitted pattern accounts for the 184's hull shape, 8-foot 2-inch beam, and T-Top frame geometry.
The 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric is available in Navy and Black. The 7oz fabric is available in Black. If you upgrade to Sunbrella acrylic, color options include Marine Blue, Black, and Smoke. All colors coordinate with common hull and T-Top finishes.
Shipping is a $30 flat rate per cover to the continental United States, with delivery typically within 1 to 2 business days.

Mako 184 T-Top Boat Cover — Aggressive Deep-V Offshore Protection

The Mako 184 is an 18-foot 4-inch center console built for serious saltwater fishing, powered by a single outboard up to 150 horsepower. This offshore-capable platform rides on an aggressive 18-degree deadrise hull with an 8-foot 2-inch beam, 53.5-gallon fuel capacity, and a dry weight of approximately 2,255 pounds. Mako introduced the 184 CC as part of its modern offshore lineup — boats built with 100% composite construction and performance lifting strakes for a dry, efficient ride. This custom-fitted T-Top boat cover wraps the entire hull beneath the hardtop, shielding the Mako 184’s helm station, leaning post, console electronics, and cockpit from sun, rain, salt spray, and seasonal storage exposure.

Tailored to the 184’s Offshore Fishing Layout

Every Mako 184 cover is pattern-cut to account for the boat’s T-Top frame legs, center console profile, leaning post, and integrated rod holders. The cover drapes over the gunwales with a hem cord that seats against the rubrail, while adjustable tie-down straps secure the fit from bow to stern. Installation takes one person under five minutes — drape, strap, and buckle with no tools required. The reinforced construction handles highway trailering speeds, and the 184’s 12-inch draft provides easy ramp access at virtually any launch. If you fish Mako’s lighter inshore platform in the same size range, the Mako 18 LTS center console cover is pattern-cut for that stepped-hull design.

Protection That Matches Mako’s Composite Build

Mako builds the 184 CC with 100% composite construction, a fiberglass-infused transom, and high-density Coosa Bluewater composite cores — no wood anywhere in the hull. Your cover should match that durability. Choose from 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric rated for 5 to 7 years of UV and weather resistance, or upgrade to premium Sunbrella acrylic for 8 to 10 years of protection. Both fabrics are water-repellent, mildew-resistant, and breathable enough to prevent trapped moisture. Double-stitched seams and reinforced stress points ensure the cover holds up season after season. Every cover ships with a 2-year manufacturer warranty and $30 flat-rate shipping to the continental U.S. For Mako’s larger Pro Skiff platform, the Mako 21 Pro Skiff T-Top cover protects the 21-foot Advanced Inverted V hull.
