Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

The cover wraps the entire hull below the T-Top hardtop, protecting the center console, helm station, livewells, insulated fish boxes, rod holders, leaning post, and all seating surfaces. The fiberglass T-Top hardtop remains exposed for airflow and access.
Yes. This cover is custom-patterned to the 2380's specific hull shape, 8'6" beam, and T-Top frame. Reinforced cutouts around each T-Top support pole create a tight seal that prevents wind from lifting the cover during storms.
The 2380 can run single or twin outboards up to 350 HP total. The cover's aft section is patterned to accommodate both configurations, with proper clearance around the engine well and cowlings while maintaining a snug fit across the transom.
The 2380 is a step up from the 2360 with a slightly longer hull, increased fuel capacity of 150 gallons versus 120, and the option for twin outboard power up to 350 HP. This gives the 2380 greater offshore range and speed while maintaining the same proven foam-filled hull construction.
For year-round outdoor storage on a dock lift or in an open slip, Sunbrella acrylic is the premium choice with 8-10 years of UV protection. The solution-dyed construction means color is locked into every fiber during manufacturing, preventing the fading that plagues surface-dyed fabrics in direct sun.
The cover fully encloses the console area including all flush-mount displays, VHF radio, fishfinder, and any helm-mounted electronics. The water-repellent fabric and reinforced seams create a sealed barrier against rain, salt spray, and morning dew.
A hem cord threads through the rubrail channel for the primary perimeter seal, adjustable tie-down straps cinch under the hull for storm-proof security, and the T-Top frame supports the cover's midsection to prevent water pooling. Most owners install the cover in under 10 minutes.
The 2380 was one of Sailfish's most popular offshore platforms in its legacy lineup, with 150 gallons of fuel capacity and the option for twin engines providing both range and reliability. The foam-filled deep-V hull delivers a stable, dry ride in moderate offshore conditions.
We recommend removing the cover before trailering. Highway wind speeds can stress seams and straps beyond their design limits. The cover is engineered for dock, lift, and slip storage where it provides maximum UV, rain, and salt spray protection between fishing trips.
Both fabric options carry manufacturer warranties: 5-7 years for 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric and 8-10 years for Sunbrella acrylic. The warranty covers material defects, UV degradation, and color fading under normal use and storage conditions.

Sailfish 2380 T-Top Boat Cover

The Sailfish 2380 represents the sweet spot in Sailfish’s legacy center console lineup — just under 24 feet with an 8’6” beam, 150 gallons of fuel, and the option for twin outboard power up to 350 HP. Built in Cairo, Georgia with Sailfish’s signature foam-filled, wood-free hull construction, the 2380 was designed for anglers who needed genuine offshore capability in a trailerable package. This custom-fitted T-Top cover protects the entire hull below the hardtop — console, electronics, livewells, fish boxes, seating, and rod storage — in 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric or premium Sunbrella acrylic while the fiberglass hardtop stays exposed for ventilation.

The 2380’s 150-gallon fuel capacity and twin-engine option gave owners the range and reliability to run well offshore, and that kind of use means serious exposure to salt air, UV radiation, and weather during dock time. With dry weight around 5,200 pounds and an 8’6” beam, this boat has significant surface area that needs protection — from the helm electronics and flush-mount displays to the leaning post cushions and under-gunwale rod storage. The cover is reinforced with double-stitched seams and a hem cord system that channels into the rubrail for a wind-proof, water-tight seal across the full perimeter of the hull.

Offshore Capability Meets Long-Term Protection

As one of Sailfish’s most capable pre-VDS offshore platforms, the 2380 represents a significant investment in fishing hardware — multiple livewells, insulated fish boxes, rod holders, and a rigging station that serious anglers customize over years of ownership. The deep-V hull with foam-filled core construction delivers the stable, predictable ride quality that defined Sailfish’s reputation before the current Variable Degree Stepped technology arrived. This cover matches that build quality with reinforced stitching, adjustable tie-down straps, and your choice of solution-dyed fabric rated for 5-7 years or Sunbrella acrylic rated for 8-10 years of continuous outdoor protection.
