7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
The 206 is 20'6" LOA versus the 199's 19'9"—just 9 inches longer, but the 206 weighs 700 lbs more at 2,200 lbs, indicating more substantial construction and features. The 17° transom deadrise (versus 16° on the 199) handles chop better, and the fuel capacity jumps from 60 to 75 gallons. The 206 is rated for up to 225 HP, making it significantly more performance-oriented.
Yes. The 206 is rated for maximum 225 HP, giving you the option to cruise 40+ knots with a premium 4-stroke outboard. Many owners choose 175-200 HP for a balance between performance and fuel economy. With a 75-gallon fuel tank, you'll have solid range even at higher power outputs. Our T-Top cover protects your engine compartment from UV and weathering.
The 206 holds 75 gallons, the largest in the entry center console family. This extended capacity supports full-day fishing trips, offshore runs, or extended cruising without frequent refueling. Fuel economy depends on engine choice—a 150 HP will cruise efficiently; 225 HP will burn fuel faster but offer thrilling performance. Either way, you have the range to explore new fishing grounds.
The 206 is a capable near-shore and coastal boat. With 17° transom deadrise and 14" draft, it handles 3-5 foot seas comfortably and can make short offshore runs on calm days. For regular offshore work, Sea Pro's larger models (240+) are better suited. The 206 is ideal for reef fishing, wreck diving, and coastal edge work—aggressive near-shore fishing.
The 206 is rated for up to 10 people, but 6-8 for fishing is optimal. The center console provides comfortable seating and 360-degree access to the water. The larger beam (8'3") and added freeboard compared to the 199 make the boat feel spacious and stable, ideal for families and fishing crews who appreciate room to move.
The 206 draws approximately 14 inches, slightly deeper than the 199's 13". This added draft provides stability in offshore seas and better directional control at high speed, but you'll still access most coastal bays and flats. It's the sweet spot between running shallow and maintaining the structural integrity needed for performance and comfort.
Hardtop or canvas T-Top is available as an option on the 206. Our custom-fitted cover is engineered for boats with the T-Top frame installed. Confirm your T-Top style (canvas or hardtop frame) and dimensions when ordering. Either way, our cover protects the hull and cabin below the frame.
Electronics vary by year and model year, but newer 206 models come equipped with touchscreen GPS/fishfinder systems and Sea Star power assist hydraulic steering. The center console provides clean wiring and an organized helm. Our T-Top cover protects the console area and all electronics from UV rays and saltwater spray that would otherwise corrode connectors and degrade performance.
Both are excellent, but consider your storage environment. If your boat lives in direct sun year-round (Florida, Southwest), Sunbrella acrylic is worth the investment for its 8-10 year lifespan and superior fade resistance. For boats in temperate zones or with seasonal storage under cover, 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric (5-7 years) provides solid protection and value.
The 206 is a pure center console emphasizing speed, electronics, and offshore capability—different from the 1900 SV's bay boat layout. If you want a center console, the 206 is our step-up choice. To explore larger options, check out our 208 and 220 T-Top covers for even more capacity. Visit our boat shades and Sea Pro brand pages to compare all models and find your perfect fit.
Sea Pro 206 T-Top Boat Cover
The Sea Pro 206 is the performance flagship of the mid-bay center console family, a 20’6″ platform that bridges recreational fishing and serious fishing performance. Founded in 1989 by the Hancock family in Newberry, South Carolina, and relaunched in 2015 under founder Jimmy Hancock and Preston Wrenn, Sea Pro built the 206 on decades of expertise in hull design and customer feedback. At 2,200 lbs, with an 8’3″ beam, the 206 accommodates up to 10 people and handles engines rated from 150 to 225 HP—giving you the flexibility to choose power levels that match your cruising style. The boat carries 75 gallons of fuel, the largest in its class, supporting extended range for reef fishing, wreck diving, and day runs to distant coastal grounds. With 17-degree transom deadrise and 14-inch draft, the 206 handles 3-5 foot seas confidently while still accessing most bay systems and flats. The hull is fiberglass with foam-filled sides and vinyl ester barrier coat—Sea Pro’s commitment to durability and osmotic blistering prevention. Our custom T-Top cover wraps the hull and cabin area below your hardtop, delivering comprehensive UV and saltwater protection that preserves gel coat integrity, prevents hardware corrosion, and eliminates mildew growth in electronics boxes and cabin spaces.
The 206 represents Sea Pro’s philosophy perfectly: deliver more boat, more features, and more value than competitors at the same price point. The center console layout is spacious without feeling cavernous, and the engineering supports high-speed running (40+ knots with 225 HP) without sacrificing ride quality or safety. The boat is electronics-ready with an integrated console design for touchscreen GPS/fishfinder and VHF radio installations. Your T-Top cover is custom-fitted to the 206’s hull contours and T-Top frame geometry, with reinforced double-stitched seams, rubrail hem cord, and adjustable tie-down straps that keep the cover secure in wind and weather. Select 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric for balanced 5–7 year protection or premium Sunbrella acrylic for 8–10 years of durability and superior fade resistance. Both fabrics are UV-resistant, water-repellent, and mold-resistant—essential for boats stored in hot, humid coastal climates where sun damage and moisture accumulation accelerate deterioration.
Mid-Bay Performance & Fishing Versatility
The 206 is a boat built for anglers and boaters who demand performance without sacrificing fishing functionality. The center console provides superior sight-fishing access, and the larger beam (8’3″) creates a stable platform for multiple anglers. The boat’s 17-degree transom deadrise is optimized for fuel efficiency at cruising speeds while maintaining directional stability at performance speeds. Standard equipment includes dual livewells (16 gallons each), a large fish box, and rod storage arranged for quick casting access. A quality T-Top cover is more than cosmetic protection—it’s a preservation tool. UV rays degrade gel coat finish and promote oxidation; saltwater spray corrodes stainless steel and aluminum hardware; moisture and temperature fluctuations cause mildew and internal corrosion. Proper coverage extends the boat’s useful life, maintains resale value, and keeps your rig tournament-ready year after year.
