7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
The 238 adds 3 inches of length (23'8" vs 23'5") and an extra inch of draft (15" vs 14") with the same 300 HP rating and 121-gallon tank. The 238 is slightly lighter at 3,000 lbs versus 3,200, which can translate to marginally better speed. Both share deep-vee hull construction. The 238 sits higher in the Large Bay lineup, offering a touch more offshore-oriented design.
The 238 bridges both worlds. Its deep-vee hull handles offshore conditions (3-4 foot seas) with confidence, while the 15-inch draft still allows access to most bay systems. The 300 HP engine and 121-gallon fuel tank give you the power and range for 30+ mile offshore runs. It's a versatile platform that can fish inshore in the morning and run to offshore structure by afternoon.
Range. The 238's 121-gallon capacity puts you in the same range class as 26-27 foot boats. You can run to distant offshore structure, troll all day, and return without fuel anxiety. For tournament anglers who need to cover water, this fuel capacity eliminates the biggest limitation of most 23-foot center consoles. Our cover protects the fuel system from UV degradation.
The 238 is rated for 10 persons, and the deck layout supports 4-5 active anglers comfortably. The 8'6" beam provides a stable platform, and Sea Pro's standard equipment includes enough rod holders and storage for a tournament crew. For family trips, 10 people have room to move. Our cover protects all that deck space and hardware between uses.
Empty draft is approximately 15 inches. Add fuel, gear, tackle, and 4-5 people, and expect 17-19 inches depending on load. That's still accessible for most bay systems and coastal waterways, though you'll want to be cautious on extremely shallow flats. The deep-vee hull rides well in deeper water—the trade-off for better offshore performance.
Our cover wraps the hull and cabin below the T-Top frame. Rocket launchers mounted on the T-Top typically remain exposed above the cover line. If you have outriggers or accessories that extend below the hardtop, contact us to discuss custom accommodation. Most factory T-Top configurations are covered by our standard pattern.
Our 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric provides 5-7 years of protection at a value price. Sunbrella acrylic is our premium offering—8-10 years with superior UV fade resistance. For a boat like the 238 that sees offshore saltwater exposure, Sunbrella's enhanced durability pays dividends over time. The extra cost upfront saves money versus replacing fabric sooner.
Two people can deploy the cover in under 10 minutes on a 23'8" hull. Removal is faster—typically 5-7 minutes. The tie-down straps and hem cord system are designed for quick release. With practice, the process becomes even faster. The cover is manageable by one person in calm conditions, though two-person deployment is recommended for the best fit.
Our 9oz fabric carries a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects—seam failures, fabric splits, and construction issues. Sunbrella acrylic gets 8 years. Normal UV fading, weather wear, and damage from improper storage or care aren't covered. We build premium covers and back them with warranties that reflect their quality.

Sea Pro 238 T-Top Boat Cover
The Sea Pro 238 is the upper tier of the Large Bay family—a 23’8” deep-vee center console with 300 HP capability, 121-gallon fuel capacity, and the hull design to handle both bay systems and offshore structure with authority. The 238 is built for captains who run hard: tournament anglers who cover water, guides who need reliability, and families who want one boat that does everything from sandbar trips to 30-mile offshore runs. At 3,000 lbs with an 8’6” beam and room for 10 people, the 238 delivers big-boat range in a package that’s still trailerable. Sea Pro designed this hull at their Newberry, South Carolina facility using 3D CAD technology—the same plant where the Hancock family founded the brand in 1989 and relaunched it in 2015 with Preston Wrenn. Our custom T-Top cover wraps the deep-vee hull below the hardtop, providing comprehensive UV, salt, and weather protection for a boat that earns its keep in demanding conditions.
The 238’s deep-vee fiberglass hull is constructed with foam-filled cavities for structural rigidity and safety, and the hull shape is tuned for speed and ride quality in rough water. The 15-inch draft is a touch deeper than the 235’s 14 inches, reflecting the more aggressive offshore-oriented deadrise. Your T-Top cover is engineered to the 238’s exact hull contours and T-Top frame, with reinforced double-stitched seams, rubrail hem cord, and adjustable tie-down straps that hold firm against marina winds and weather. Choose 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric (5–7 years) or premium Sunbrella acrylic (8–10 years)—both options deliver UV resistance, water repellency, and mold protection that these boats need.
Large Bay Performance — Engineered for Range
The Sea Pro 238 shares its 121-gallon fuel capacity with the 235, giving both boats exceptional range for the 23-foot class. The 238’s deeper draft and slightly lighter hull translate to a marginally different ride character—a touch more aggressive in the turn, a touch more comfortable in offshore chop. The 300 HP engine puts you past 40 knots at cruise, and the fuel tank means you can fish all day at any distance. Whether you’re working an inshore tournament pattern or running to deepwater structure, the 238 has the legs to get there and back. A quality T-Top cover protects the hull, hardware, and interior from the compounded damage that boats experience when they see both saltwater offshore conditions and humid inshore storage environments.
