Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions

The 239 is built from the keel up for open water: a 9'1" beam (widest in this size class), 4,200-lb displacement, 16-inch draft, deep-vee hull, and 350 HP rating. Compare that to bay boats like the 228 Bay (8'6" beam, 2,932 lbs, 12" draft, 250 HP). The 239 is designed to handle 4-5 foot seas, run 30+ miles offshore, and bring you home safely in deteriorating conditions.
Exceptionally well. The deep-vee hull with 4,200 lbs of displacement cuts through chop instead of pounding over it. The 9'1" beam provides outstanding stability in beam seas. The 350 HP engine gives you the power to punch through waves and maintain headway in wind. This is a boat you can trust 20+ miles offshore when weather kicks up.
The 239's 102-gallon tank provides solid offshore range—35-40 miles out and back with a comfortable reserve at cruise speed. For most coastal anglers, that puts you on major reef systems, wrecks, and deepwater structure. The efficient deep-vee hull maximizes range from every gallon. Plan your trips conservatively and you'll have fuel to spare.
The 239 can run most bay systems and coastal waterways, though the 16-inch draft limits access to extremely shallow flats. For grass beds and skinny creeks, a shallower-draft bay boat is more appropriate. But for deeper bays, inlets, jetties, and nearshore structure, the 239 is perfectly capable. It's just not optimized for sight fishing on 8-inch flats.
The 248 adds nearly a foot of length (24'8" vs 23'9") with the same 350 HP rating and a 9'2" beam versus 9'1". Both are dedicated offshore platforms, but the 248 is heavier with more deck space and deeper freeboard. The 239 is the entry point to Sea Pro's Offshore family; the 248 is the mid-range option with more room and capability.
The 239 is rated for 11 persons—the most in this batch. The 9'1" beam creates a wide, stable fishing platform with 360-degree access. Sea Pro's standard equipment includes multiple rod holders, livewells, and organized storage. For tournament crews of 4-5 anglers, the 239 provides excellent working space. Our cover protects all that deck area and gear.
Our 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric is the value option—5-7 years of UV and water protection. Sunbrella acrylic is premium: 8-10 years of superior fade resistance and durability. For an offshore boat like the 239 that faces intense salt exposure and UV, Sunbrella is strongly recommended—the harsh offshore environment demands the best protection available.
The wider beam actually helps—more fabric tension means a cleaner, tighter fit. Two people can deploy the cover in 10-12 minutes. The reinforced tie-down straps and rubrail hem cord system are designed for efficiency. The cover weighs more than smaller models due to the 239's wider hull, so two-person deployment is recommended.
Our 9oz fabric carries a 5-year warranty; Sunbrella acrylic gets 8 years. Both cover manufacturing defects—seam failures, fabric integrity issues, and construction problems under normal use. Damage from storms, UV fading, and improper care are excluded. Offshore boats deserve premium protection, and we build covers that deliver it.
Step up to the Sea Pro 248 T-Top cover (24'8", 350 HP) for the next size in the Offshore family, or explore the 255 (25'5") for even more capability. For a completely different boat type, check the Sea Pro 245 FLX T-Top cover—a family-oriented sandbar boat with a unique entertainment-focused layout. Every cover is custom-patterned to its specific hull.

Sea Pro 239 T-Top Boat Cover

The Sea Pro 239 is the entry point to the Offshore family—a 23’9” deep-vee center console that’s built for blue water. This is not a bay boat with pretensions; it’s a dedicated offshore platform with a 9’1” beam (the widest in this size class), 4,200 lbs of displacement, 350 HP capability, and a deep-vee hull designed to handle 4-5 foot seas with authority. Sea Pro built the 239 for captains who run to offshore structure—reefs, wrecks, ledges, and canyons—and need a boat that performs in deteriorating conditions. At 102 gallons of fuel capacity and room for 11 people, the 239 delivers serious offshore fishing in a hull that’s still manageable for a single owner. Born from the Hancock family’s 1989 founding in Newberry, South Carolina and refined through the 2015 relaunch with Preston Wrenn, the 239 represents Sea Pro’s offshore engineering at its finest. Our custom T-Top cover wraps this robust hull below the hardtop, protecting gel coat, hardware, and interior from the punishing combination of UV, salt, and weather that offshore boats endure.

The 239’s deep-vee hull is 3D CAD-designed for performance in rough water—the aggressive deadrise cuts through waves rather than slamming, and the 4,200-lb displacement provides the mass to smooth out the ride. Foam-filled fiberglass construction adds structural integrity and unsinkability. The 9’1” beam creates a stable fishing platform even in beam seas. Your T-Top cover is engineered to the 239’s wider hull dimensions and T-Top frame, with reinforced double-stitched seams, rubrail hem cord, and heavy-duty tie-down straps rated for the wind loads that offshore-docked boats experience. Choose 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric (5–7 years) or premium Sunbrella acrylic (8–10 years)—for offshore boats, Sunbrella is strongly recommended due to the intense UV and salt exposure these vessels face.

Offshore Engineering — Built for Blue Water

The Sea Pro 239 separates itself from bay boats and crossovers with purpose-built offshore engineering. The deep-vee hull, wider beam, and heavier displacement are all designed for one thing: getting you to the fish and back safely in conditions that would send smaller boats running for the inlet. The 350 HP engine pushes past 45 knots for tournament runs, and the 102-gallon fuel tank provides the range to reach productive offshore structure 30-40 miles out. Sea Pro’s standard equipment package includes everything an offshore angler needs—rod holders, livewells, tackle storage, and a helm layout designed for open-water navigation. A premium T-Top cover is essential for offshore boats—salt and UV damage compound faster on vessels that see open ocean regularly, and comprehensive protection preserves both appearance and resale value.
