7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.
*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions
The 2486 cover is available in 9oz solution-dyed marine polyester, 7oz solution-dyed polyester, and premium Sunbrella acrylic. All solution-dyed for permanent fade resistance in the offshore conditions this twin-engine platform encounters.
Yes. Pattern-cut with reinforced cutouts around the T-Top legs. The fabric wraps the 2486's 25'8" hull and 8'6" beam below the hardtop while the roof stays exposed. The pattern accounts for the twin-engine transom, tournament cockpit, and helm station.
Under 5 minutes solo, no tools. Drape from bow, secure with hem cord and adjustable straps. The 2486's 25'8" length is manageable for one person.
The cover wraps the hull below the hardtop, creating a complete barrier over the helm, GPS/fishfinder, leaning post, rod holders, livewells, and all seating. Engine lower units remain visible below the fabric at the stern.
No — please remove the cover before towing your Triton 2486. Our covers are not designed to be trailered: towing with the cover on can cause severe damage to the cover and voids the warranty. The cover is designed for storage only — on a trailer, boat lift, dry stack, or jet dock — and comes off in minutes at the ramp.
Your Triton 2486 cover is backed by our manufacturer's warranty for the original purchaser. Materials and workmanship — stitching, straps, buckles, zippers, and other hardware — are covered for 1 year from the purchase date. Fabric is covered for 3 years on 7oz, 5 years on black or navy 9oz, and 6 years on Sunbrella. Covered defects are repaired or replaced after you contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The warranty does not cover improper use, accident or negligence, unauthorized modifications, improper care, mold or mildew, incorrectly placed orders, theft or loss, or acts of God — and traveling with the cover on or using it in the water voids the warranty. See our Warranty page for full details.
Water-resistant with DWR finish. Breathable to prevent mildew on the 2486's tournament electronics during storage between offshore trips.
Yes. Pattern-cut to the 2486's standard dimensions (25'8" LOA, 8'6" beam) with factory T-Top.
The Triton 2486 cover is available in 9oz solution-dyed polyester in Navy or Black, 7oz polyester in Black, or premium Sunbrella acrylic in Marine Blue, Black, or Smoke. Choose your fabric and color in the order options above.

The Triton 2486 measures 25’8″ overall with an 8’6″ beam, 4,300 pounds dry, and a 20-degree deadrise deep-vee hull — a twin-engine offshore center console from Triton Boats that delivers what On The Water magazine called “an extremely versatile open water fishing machine.” Built in Ashland City, Tennessee by founder Earl Bentz’s team with 100% composite unibody construction and zero wood, the 2486 carries 151 gallons of fuel and handles up to 300 combined horsepower on twin outboards. With 360 degrees of fishability, a 35-gallon transom livewell, dual insulated bait boxes, and rod holders seemingly everywhere — four at the leaning post, four on the T-Top, six in the gunwales, and two forward for fly rods — this is a boat built to win tournaments, not just enter them. Pattern-Cut for the 2486’s Tournament Cockpit
This cover is cut specifically for the 2486’s generous fishing cockpit, twin-engine transom, leaning post tackle center, and T-Top configuration. The fabric wraps the hull below the hardtop with reinforced cutouts around the T-Top support legs, while the white fiberglass hardtop roof stays fully exposed on top — those T-Top rod holders and electronics stay protected under the fabric while the hardtop sheds rain on its own. A hem cord at the rubrail and adjustable tie-down straps secure the cover, and at 25’8″ with a 17-inch draft, the 2486 is still very much a trailerable boat. Remove the cover before towing — it’s designed for storage, not travel. Installation takes under five minutes solo. The next step up in offshore capability is the Triton 2690 T-Top boat cover, covering the 27-foot platform with its 204-gallon fuel range and twin-engine power up to 500 HP.
Zero-Flex Construction Deserves Zero-Compromise Protection
Triton builds the 2486 on their proprietary Zero-Flex stringer system — four transverse bulkheads and five longitudinal stringers in a one-piece grid using Tri-core composite construction that will never rot, never flex, and never delaminate. That kind of engineering commitment deserves a cover that matches it. Choose 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric for 5-7 years of UV and salt resistance, or premium Sunbrella acrylic for 8-10 years of protection even in the harshest offshore environments. Both are water-repellent, mildew-resistant, and breathable to prevent trapped moisture from damaging the 2486’s electronics, leaning post cushions, and upholstery. Every cover ships within 1–3 weeks and is backed by our warranty (1 year on materials and workmanship, plus 3–6 years on the fabric). For the flagship offshore Triton, the Triton 351 T-Top boat cover covers the massive 34-foot triple-engine tournament platform.
