Custom Fit Boat Covers for Skeeter Boats

Our Skeeter boat covers are custom-patterned for your exact model — built for Skeeter’s saltwater boats, from the SX and SXV bay boats to the WX and WXR offshore center consoles. Founded in 1948 and built in Kilgore, Texas, Skeeter is famous for premium bass boats but also builds serious saltwater fishing boats on a deep-V, dry-running hull. Because a bay boat and an offshore center console — often with a T-top — need very different covers, a generic one rarely fits right. Ours follows your boat’s exact lines. Every cover is made in the USA from marine-grade, water-repellent fabric.

Skeeter Boat Cover Features and Benefits

Custom Fit for Skeeter Models:

Every Skeeter cover is custom-patterned to your exact model — SX/SXV bay boat or WX/WXR offshore center console — and tailored around the console, leaning post, T-top, and seating so it fits without flapping or pooling.

High-Quality Marine-Grade Fabric:

Built from marine-grade, UV-resistant fabric, our covers stand up to the sun, salt, and humidity Skeeters run in — resisting fading, mildew, and cracking season after season.

All-Weather Protection:

On the trailer, at the dock, or in storage, your cover shields the helm, electronics, and upholstery from UV, rain, dust, and bird droppings, keeping your Skeeter ready to fish and protecting its value.

Easy Installation:

Reinforced tie-downs and a snug, tailored cut keep the cover secure and quiet — even at highway tow speed or in a coastal breeze. Proudly custom-made in the USA.

About Skeeter Boats

Skeeter has built boats since 1948 and is based in Kilgore, Texas, where it’s now part of the Yamaha family. Best known as a premium bass-boat brand — and credited with the first fiberglass bass boat in 1961 — Skeeter also builds a serious saltwater line: the SX and SXV bay boats for inshore and the WX and WXR offshore center consoles for bigger water. Both ride on a deep-V, reverse-chine hull engineered to run dry, with shallow draft for skinny water.

Why Protect Your Skeeter with a Custom Cover?

Saltwater boats spend their downtime exposed to UV, salt air, rain, and pollen that fade gelcoat, stain upholstery, and wear on electronics. A properly fitted cover shields the helm, seating, and rigging whether your Skeeter is on the trailer, at the slip, or in storage — helping preserve both its condition and its resale value.

Custom-Fit vs. Generic Covers

A universal cover sits loose, traps moisture, and flaps in the wind, chafing gelcoat and loosening fasteners at highway speed. Our Skeeter covers are custom-patterned to your specific model and year for a snug, tailored fit that sheds water and stays put.

Bay (SX/SXV) or Offshore (WX/WXR) — Fit to Your Skeeter

Skeeter’s saltwater boats come in two very different forms: low-profile SX/SXV bay boats for inshore, and taller, deeper WX/WXR offshore center consoles. They take different covers, and many run a T-top the cover must fit around. Tell us your exact model and top so we pattern the cover to your boat. (Run a Skeeter bass boat too? Let us know — that uses a different pattern.)

Features of Our Skeeter Boat Covers

Each cover is crafted from marine-grade, UV-resistant fabric chosen to handle sun, salt, and humidity without fading or cracking. Reinforced stitching, tailored seams, and secure tie-downs keep it snug and quiet, while a water-repellent finish helps rain and spray run off instead of soaking through.
