A flats or bay boat spends much of its life trailered or sitting between trips, exposed to sun, rain, and salt. UV fades gelcoat and seats, rain pools on open decks, and salt works into the rigging. A snug cover shields the console, deck, and seating on the trailer, at the ramp, or in storage — protecting both condition and resale value.
