Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions

The standard cover for the Ken Craft 2060 Bay Rider is crafted from 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric — a tightly woven polyester that resists UV fading, mildew, and water penetration for 5 to 7 years of reliable protection. We also offer a premium Sunbrella acrylic option rated for 8 to 10 years. Both fabrics are breathable to prevent moisture and mildew buildup underneath the cover.
Yes. The cover is pattern-cut specifically for the Ken Craft 2060 Bay Rider hull and T-Top frame. It wraps the hull below the hardtop with reinforced cutouts that fit snugly around the T-Top support legs. The hardtop roof remains exposed on top while everything below — console, leaning post, rod holders, and seating — is fully enclosed.
Installation takes one person under five minutes. Simply drape the cover over the hull beneath the T-Top hardtop, align the reinforced cutouts with the T-Top support legs, and secure the adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs along the rubrail. No tools or additional hardware required.
Absolutely. The cover is reinforced for trailering at highway speeds. The adjustable tie-down straps and hem cord keep the fabric taut and secure even at speed, so you can tow your 2060 Bay Rider directly from the ramp to storage without removing the cover.
Yes. The cover creates a complete barrier over the entire cockpit, shielding your helm electronics, GPS, fishfinder, VHF radio, seat cushions, and leaning post upholstery from UV rays, rain, salt spray, bird droppings, and airborne debris. The breathable fabric prevents condensation buildup that can damage sensitive electronics.
Every cover ships with a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The 9oz solution-dyed fabric is engineered for 5 to 7 years of service life, and the Sunbrella acrylic option is rated for 8 to 10 years — well beyond the warranty period.
The cover is water-resistant with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish that causes rain and spray to bead up and roll off. It is intentionally breathable rather than fully waterproof — this allows trapped moisture and humidity to escape, preventing mildew growth and condensation that can damage your 2060 Bay Rider’s interior.
The 2060 Bay Rider’s ribbed flat-bottom skiff hull drafts just 10 inches of water, making it one of the shallowest-running boats in its size class. This ultra-shallow draft is Ken Craft’s key differentiator — the Skiff Series is purpose-built for marsh creeks, oyster bars, and backwater flats that deeper-hulled boats cannot access.
The 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric is available in Navy, Black, and Charcoal. If you upgrade to the Sunbrella acrylic option, you’ll have access to an expanded color palette including additional shades and accent colors. All colors are solution-dyed, meaning the pigment is embedded in the fiber rather than applied to the surface, so they resist fading far longer than surface-dyed alternatives.
Shipping is a flat rate per cover to anywhere in the continental United States. Orders typically ship within 1 to 2 business days. The cover arrives folded in a compact package that’s easy to store until your next trip to the ramp.

Ken Craft 2060 Bay Rider T-Top Boat Cover — Shallow-Water Skiff Protection Built in North Carolina

The Ken Craft 2060 Bay Rider is a 20-foot ribbed flat-bottom skiff built by Ken Craft Boats out of Wilson, North Carolina — a family-owned operation that has been building inshore fishing platforms since 1975. At 20’2” LOA with a 7’10” beam, a dry weight of 2,350 lbs, and a 35-gallon fuel tank feeding up to 150 horsepower on a 25” transom, the 2060 Bay Rider belongs to Ken Craft’s Skiff Series and drafts just 10 inches of water. That ultra-shallow draft is the entire point — this boat was designed to get into skinny backwater flats, oyster bars, and marsh creeks that deeper-hulled boats simply cannot reach. Ken Craft’s signature “No Wood, No Rot” all-composite construction means there are no wood stringers or transoms to degrade over time, and our custom-fitted T-Top cover for the 2060 Bay Rider is pattern-cut to match every contour of that composite hull. The cover protects the helm console, leaning post, rod holders, and all interior surfaces from UV exposure, salt spray, rain, and airborne debris. Browse our full selection of center console boat covers to find protection for every hull style and size in the lineup.

Engineered for the 2060’s Ribbed Flat-Bottom Platform

This cover wraps beneath the T-Top hardtop and drapes down to the rubrail on all sides, with reinforced cutouts that fit precisely around the T-Top support legs. The 2060 Bay Rider’s forward casting deck, center console with integrated 22-gallon livewell, and transom fishing station are all enclosed beneath a smooth, taut canopy secured by adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs. One person can install the cover in under five minutes — drape, align the cutouts with the T-Top legs, strap down at the rubrail, and walk away. The ribbed flat-bottom hull that gives this skiff its legendary shallow-water access also makes it a popular trailering boat, and the cover is fully reinforced for highway-speed towing so you can keep it protected from the ramp to the driveway. Protection That Matches Ken Craft’s “No Wood, No Rot” Build Quality

Ken Craft has spent nearly 50 years perfecting their all-composite construction — no wood stringers, no plywood transoms, no rot. Your cover should meet that same standard of durability. Our 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric delivers 5 to 7 years of UV and weather resistance with water-repellent, mildew-resistant performance that stands up to the salt, humidity, and relentless sun of coastal Carolina fishing. For owners who want maximum longevity, our premium Sunbrella acrylic option extends that lifespan to 8 to 10 years with the same breathable, solution-dyed construction that prevents moisture buildup underneath. Every seam is double-stitched with UV-resistant thread, and every cover ships with a 2-year manufacturer warranty. Whether your 2060 Bay Rider runs marsh creeks daily or sits on a trailer between weekend trips, this cover keeps the sun and salt off the console, cushions, and electronics so they last as long as that rot-proof hull.
