Choose Your Cover Fabric

7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.

9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.

Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.

Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

*The warranty periods above are provided by the fabric manufacturer and cover the material itself. For details on what’s included in the warranty for your completed cover, please see our warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions

The standard cover for the Ken Craft 219 Bay Rider uses 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric — a durable, tightly woven polyester that resists UV fading, mildew, and water penetration for 5 to 7 years. We also offer a premium Sunbrella acrylic upgrade rated for 8 to 10 years. Both fabrics are solution-dyed, meaning the color is embedded into the fiber during manufacturing rather than applied afterward, delivering superior fade resistance.
Yes. The cover is pattern-cut to the Ken Craft 219 Bay Rider’s hull and T-Top frame. It wraps the hull below the hardtop with reinforced cutouts that fit precisely around the T-Top support legs. The hardtop roof stays exposed on top while the entire cockpit below — console, leaning post, rod holders, seating, coolers, and fishboxes — is fully enclosed.
Installation takes one person under five minutes. Drape the cover over the hull beneath the T-Top hardtop, align the reinforced cutouts with the T-Top legs, and secure the adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs along the rubrail. No tools, no extra hands, no hardware needed.
Yes. The cover is reinforced for highway-speed trailering. The adjustable tie-down straps and hem cord hold the fabric securely in place during transport, so you can tow your 219 Bay Rider from the ramp to storage without removing the cover.
Yes. The cover provides a complete barrier over the cockpit, shielding your helm electronics, GPS, fishfinder, VHF radio, seat cushions, and leaning post from UV rays, rain, salt spray, bird droppings, and airborne debris. The breathable fabric allows trapped moisture to escape, preventing the condensation that can damage sensitive electronics over time.
Every cover includes a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. The 9oz solution-dyed fabric is designed for 5 to 7 years of service, and the Sunbrella acrylic option is rated for 8 to 10 years — significantly outlasting the warranty period.
The cover is water-resistant with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish that causes rain and spray to bead and roll off. It is breathable by design rather than fully waterproof — this allows moisture and humidity to vent out, preventing mildew and condensation buildup that can damage your 219 Bay Rider’s interior and electronics.
The 219 Bay Rider is part of Ken Craft’s Bay Series, which uses a modified-V hull with 14 degrees of deadrise and a 12-inch draft. The Skiff Series models use a ribbed flat-bottom hull with a 10-inch draft for even shallower water access. The Bay Series trades a couple inches of draft for better rough-water handling, making the 219 a true inshore-to-bay crossover platform.
The 9oz solution-dyed fabric comes in Navy, Black, and Charcoal. The Sunbrella acrylic upgrade offers an expanded color palette with additional shades and accent options. All colors are solution-dyed for long-lasting fade resistance even under constant sun exposure.
Shipping is a flat rate per cover to anywhere in the continental United States. Orders typically ship within 1 to 2 business days. The cover arrives compactly folded for easy storage until you’re ready to install.

Ken Craft 219 Bay Rider T-Top Boat Cover — Bay Series Crossover Protection from Wilson, NC

The Ken Craft 219 Bay Rider is a 21-foot modified-V bay boat built in Wilson, North Carolina by a family-owned company that has been turning out inshore fishing machines since 1975. At 21’5” LOA with a 7’11” beam, a dry weight of 2,200 lbs, and a 63-gallon fuel tank feeding up to 200 horsepower, the 219 Bay Rider sits in Ken Craft’s Bay Series — the line designed to bridge the gap between skinny-water skiffs and open-water center consoles. Its 14-degree deadrise and 12-inch draft give it enough V to handle bay chop while still running shallow enough for most inshore flats. Ken Craft’s “No Wood, No Rot” all-composite construction eliminates wood stringers and transoms entirely, and the 219’s storage layout — a 280-quart forward center compartment flanked by dual 71-quart coolers — makes it a serious fish-hauling platform. Our custom-fitted T-Top cover for the 219 Bay Rider is pattern-cut to match every dimension of that composite hull, protecting the helm console, leaning post, electronics, and all interior surfaces from UV damage, salt corrosion, rain, and debris. See the full Ken Craft boat covers collection for every model in the lineup.

Tailored to the 219’s Bay-to-Offshore Fishing Layout

The cover wraps beneath the T-Top hardtop and drapes to the rubrail on all sides, with reinforced cutouts that fit precisely around the T-Top support legs. The 219 Bay Rider’s 280-quart forward fishbox, center console with integrated 15-gallon livewell, dual 71-quart insulated coolers, and transom fishing station are all enclosed beneath a smooth, fitted canopy secured by adjustable strap-and-buckle tie-downs. Installation takes one person under five minutes — drape the cover, align the T-Top leg cutouts, strap down at the rubrail, and walk away. The 219’s modified-V hull rides well on a trailer, and the cover is fully reinforced for highway-speed towing so your bay boat stays protected from the boat ramp to the driveway. Fabric Durability That Matches “No Wood, No Rot” Construction

Ken Craft builds every hull with all-composite fiberglass and zero wood components — a construction philosophy that eliminates rot and extends the life of the boat by decades. Your cover should hold up to that same standard. Our 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric provides 5 to 7 years of UV resistance, water repellency, and mildew protection, with double-stitched seams and UV-resistant thread throughout. For maximum longevity, our premium Sunbrella acrylic option extends service life to 8 to 10 years with the same breathable, solution-dyed performance that prevents trapped moisture from damaging what’s underneath. Every cover ships with a 2-year manufacturer warranty. The 219 Bay Rider is built to fish hard in North Carolina sounds, Florida bays, and everywhere in between — this cover makes sure the console, cushions, and electronics stay in top shape season after season.
