7 oz. Polyester — Our entry-level marine cover fabric, woven from 100% polyester fiber at a 7 oz. per linear yard weight. This lighter option keeps the cover manageable for solo handling while still delivering reliable protection against sun, rain, and debris. Backed by a 3-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black.
9 oz. Polyester — Step up to our heavy-duty polyester, engineered at 9 oz. per linear yard for boats that face tougher conditions or extended outdoor storage. The denser weave adds an extra layer of defense against abrasion and weather without adding unnecessary bulk. Protected by a 5-year fabric warranty. Ships in Navy or Black.
Sunbrella® — For boaters who want the best, our Sunbrella covers use 100% solution-dyed acrylic — the same fabric trusted by marine professionals worldwide. Naturally resistant to fading, mold, and water damage, Sunbrella holds its color and integrity season after season. Covered by a 6-year fabric warranty. Ships in Black, Smoke, or Marine Blue.
Both polyester options feature solution-dyed construction, where pigment is infused into each fiber during production rather than applied to the surface afterward. This process locks color deep into the material, preventing any dye transfer to your boat’s gel coat or finish. The result is a cover that stays vibrant without bleeding or rubbing off. Our polyester is also designed to breathe — it allows moisture trapped underneath to vent out naturally, reducing the risk of mildew and keeping your boat dry. The fabric holds its form without sagging or stretching over time, stays lightweight enough for one person to handle, and stands up to prolonged UV exposure and harsh marine weather.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Our Onslow Bay 41 tournament boat cover is custom-patterned for the factory T-Top hardtop and standard quad-engine transom configuration. The cover fully encloses the cabin roof, helm station, extended side rails, and engine bay. Factory-original rigging ensures a precise fit. Non-standard T-Top modifications may require custom alterations; contact us to verify your specific setup.
Both fabrics offer excellent UV and mold resistance, but the Onslow Bay 41 represents a significant investment that deserves Sunbrella’s superior durability. Sunbrella acrylic lasts 8–10 years with exceptional color retention, even under intense coastal sun and frequent exposure. The 9oz marine fabric (5–7 years) is ideal for indoor storage; Sunbrella is the choice for outdoor mooring and year-round protection.
Yes. The Onslow Bay 41 boat cover extends across the entire hardtop, cabin, and transom rim, protecting all four engine installations from UV degradation, salt spray, and corrosion. The cover’s substantial 55 lbs accounts for the full width and complexity of this flagship platform. The cover does not extend below the rubrail, allowing proper water drainage.
We do not recommend trailering with the cover installed. Highway wind loads, road spray, and debris impact can stress seams, tie-downs, and fabric. Remove the cover before launching or trailering, or use heavy-duty ratchet straps designed specifically for road transport to secure it. You’ll extend the cover’s lifespan by removing it during transport.
Rinse the cover regularly with fresh water to remove salt deposits, allow it to air-dry completely before storage, and store indoors when possible to protect from UV exposure between uses. Avoid pressure washers, harsh chemicals, or tight folding. Proper maintenance significantly extends the cover’s effective lifespan.
Use all provided stainless steel straps and anchor them to through-bolts or eye rings on the gunwales and transom. In hurricane-prone areas or high-wind storage facilities, consider additional ratchet straps fore and aft. A properly secured 55-lb cover won’t budge in winds up to 35 knots. Loose corners and gaps allow wind to catch the cover and compromise your boat.
Perfect Fit covers are backed by a comprehensive 2-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Damage from accidents, improper tie-down technique, UV weathering beyond the fabric’s stated lifespan, or failure to maintain the cover is not covered. Registration with Perfect Fit at purchase activates full warranty coverage.
The cover is water-resistant with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish that causes rain and spray to bead and roll off. On the 41 Tournament's massive 11'4" beam and 40'10" length, a fully waterproof seal would trap an exceptional volume of humid air, creating aggressive mildew conditions on the extensive upholstery, electronics suites, and gel coat surfaces. The breathable construction allows air to circulate while blocking direct water contact — essential for a flagship tournament boat that may sit covered at a dock between multi-day offshore runs.
The 9 oz solution-dyed polyester is available in Navy, Black, and Charcoal. The 7 oz polyester offers the same three colors at a lighter weight. Upgrading to Sunbrella acrylic adds Captain Navy, Pacific Blue, Forest Green, and additional marine-grade shades. Given the 41 Tournament's enormous surface area, Sunbrella's superior UV longevity — 8 to 10 years versus 5 to 7 for the 9 oz — is particularly worthwhile, as even moderate fading becomes visible across a cover this large.
Shipping is a flat rate of $30 per cover to anywhere in the continental United States. Orders typically ship within 1 to 2 business days via ground carrier. The 41 Tournament cover is one of the largest in our catalog given the boat's 40'10" length and 11'4" beam, so the shipping package is substantial — but all mounting hardware including stainless steel snaps, adjustable tie-down straps, hem cord, and T-Top attachment fittings is included and ready for installation.

Onslow Bay 41 Tournament T-Top Boat Cover
The Onslow Bay 41 Tournament is the ultimate expression of Brad Knight’s boatbuilding mastery: a blue-water offshore flagship designed for tournament teams that demand redundancy, capacity, and the kind of refined seaworthiness that only comes from a second-generation builder’s deep understanding of Atlantic coastal conditions. At 40’10” with an 11’4” beam, this 12,500-lb vessel carries quad-engine installations up to 2,000 HP and 632 gallons of fuel, enabling extended multi-day Gulf Stream expeditions, 100+ mile runs to distant wrecks, and the kind of offshore range that separates elite tournament campaigns from limited-range operations. The signature Onslow Bay 24° deadrise deep-V hull design delivers predictable, controlled handling in challenging 8- to 15-foot Atlantic seas—the kind of sea state where precision hull engineering separates the keepers from the boats that beat their crew to death. Our custom-fitted Onslow Bay 41 tournament T-Top boat cover provides complete protection across the expansive hardtop structure, full cabin roof, state-of-the-art helm station, extended side rails, and transom rim, safeguarding tournament electronics, navigational systems, and your substantial investment from UV degradation, salt oxidation, and environmental weathering between competition season and seasonal storage.
This premium Onslow Bay 41 tournament boat canvas is constructed with reinforced double-stitched seams at every critical stress point, a heavy-duty hem cord cinched securely along the full rubrail for wrinkle-free weather sealing, and premium stainless steel tie-down straps with multiple strategic attachment loops for wind-resistant anchoring and secure storage. Select durable 9oz solution-dyed marine fabric—delivering reliable UV protection and 5–7 years of proven service—or invest in premium Sunbrella acrylic for 8–10 years of superior durability and unmatched color retention in the intense coastal sun. Both fabrics are water-repellent, quick-drying, and engineered with mold and mildew resistance to thrive in the humid, salt-laden environment where serious tournament platforms operate. At 55 lbs, the 41 tournament cover commands the weight and substance of a flagship offshore platform, yet remains manageable for professional crews managing their gear with discipline and routine.
The Apex Offshore Tournament Platform
The Onslow Bay 41 is purpose-built for tournament teams that fish the biggest tournaments in the most demanding offshore conditions. Quad engines provide unmatched redundancy and thrust—any single engine loss doesn’t end your tournament day. The 632-gallon fuel capacity and quad-engine efficiency enable you to run Cape Hatteras, Morehead City, or South Florida-based tournaments with the range to reach the deepwater structure and Gulf Stream currents where championship fish suspend. The expansive cabin accommodates crew, electronics redundancy, and comfortable on-board systems for multi-day pushes. The 24° deadrise hull maintains that controlled, predictable motion—no hobby-horse porpoising, no sudden trim changes—the kind of stability that tournament teams rely on when the prize purse and reputation are on the line. The 11’4” beam and transom depth put five anglers on the rail comfortably, while the open cockpit design optimizes live-bait work and rapid-fire casting. Your Perfect Fit Onslow Bay 41 tournament T-Top boat cover protects this flagship investment from the relentless damage of salt spray, UV exposure, and weather exposure that can degrade finish, corrode electronics housings, and diminish both the resale value and operational lifespan of your tournament platform.
